January Favorites 2013

Hello Beauties,

Today is the last day of January and wow this month has gone by too quick. And its time to do my monthly five favorites. I have been reaching for a lot of different beauty products this month, but here are my top 5 of the month.

 Revlon Lilac Shimmer: It is the perfect light purple. I have used this on my outer corner with a brown base. It is a powder eyeshadow, and the pigmentation is ok. The one thing I like about this shadow is that the sparkle and shimmer.

NYX Blush in Natural: I love this blush so much! I have used only this blush for this month. It is a perfect baby pink with light peach hints. It goes on smoothly, and leaves a very rosy natural look.

CoverGirl Eye Enhancers in Fard Accent: I have had this product for a while now but haven't used it much. This month I discovered it in the back of my drawer and did a swatch and fell in love with it. It is the perfect highlight color. It is a light beige color, with a little bit of shimmer. Although it is a eyeshadow, I use it as a highlight under my eyebrows and it gives a great shine.

NYX Lip Gloss in Smokey Look: Another NYX product here. As you all know I love and adore NYX lip products. I have been reaching for this lip gloss a lot this month because it is the perfect natural color. It is a nude beige color, with lovely shimmer. This nude shade goes perfect with a smokey look.

 Loreal Lineur Intense in Carbon Black: I don't even know where to begin with this product. By far my favorite product of all time. This is the most amazing liquid eyeliner I have ever used, and trust me I have used a lot of different eyeliners. This eyeliner is perfect for smokey looks, it is smudge-free, dries quickly, and stays for a long long time (8 hours when I tested it). The color is really intense, it gives a great black line with the felt tip brush. The one thing I love most about this eyeliner is that you can do thick lines, thin lines, soft look or really heavy look. I don't think I can ever stop using this eyeliner.

NYX Xtreme Lip Cream

Hello Beauties,

As you know NYX is one of my favorite lip color companies. Although I enjoy a lot of their products but by far my favorite is the lip products. On this post I will be reviewing 2 of the Xtreme Lip Creams I picked up the other day. I have wore them once each and let me tell you the quality is amazing. They stay on for almost 4 hours, and the color is amazing on your lips. I also love the doe-foot applicator it is perfect for applying and making a shape.

 Absolute Red: This is the most amazing red color I have tried ever. It is a bold red almost like blood red color with a glossy finish. I love the glossy finish because it doesn't make the lips look dry. The color lasts for couple of hours, also leaves a nice stain, and the red looks amazing on any skin color. Absolute Red is a year round color, I would especially wear this in winter and summer. It also has the perfect shine. 

Dolly Girl:  First of all I love the name of this lip cream.Dolly Girl is a bold pink color. The finish of it is glossy and the shine is perfect. I love the pigmentation of this color, also the purple undertones is a bonus. This color will go perfectly with a natural look.

NOTM= Nail Of The Moment.

Hello beauties,

Today I have a Nail of the moment post. As you know I adore nail polish. My collection is growing everyday. The color I will be discussing with you today is Sharon by Julep. Sharon is an amazing deep red color. It has the perfect shimmer that should be in a bold red color. I put only one coat of Sharon and the color turned out great. As you can see below this is the perfect red for winter. I would also wear this on Valentines Day. This is the most unique red I have in my collection.

"Would You Rather" Tag

 Hello beauties!!

 First of all HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!! Hope all of you are doing great and enjoying the beginning to 2013. I have been gone for a while and I am really sorry for that. But I am back. Will be doing posts from now on. So welcome back to my blog. Here is the first post of the year. Hope you enjoy!

Questions:

1.) Would you rather lose all of your mascaras, eyeliners, lipsticks, and lipglosses or lose all of your palettes and eyeshadows?
* I would loose all my palettes and eyeshadows. I love having a natural look so I can always wear eyeliner and mascara and I am good to go.

2.) Would you rather chop off all your hair or never be able to cut it again?
 * Never be able to cut it again. That's it!

3.) Would you rather have a coral cheek or a pink cheek?
* Pink cheek, it looks more natural.

4.) If you had $1000 to spend, would you rather buy clothes or makeup?
*Oh! This is a difficult one. But I have to say I would buy clothes, because I already have enough makeup. Just need more outfits :)

5.) Would you rather apply lipstick as eyeliner, or eyeliner as lipstick?
* I would apply lipstick as eyeliner, because eyeliner as lipstick will not look good at all.

6.) Would you rather only shop at MAC or Sephora?
*Sephora of course! I love Sephora because I can get a lot of different brands from there. And there are more choices.

7.) Would you rather only use one eyeshadow color or one lip color for the rest of your life?
* I would use one eyeshadow color for the rest of my life. I am not a big lipstick/lipgloss fan.

 8.) Would you rather wear winter clothes in summer or summer clothes in winter?
* WHAT?!! I think I am good wearing summer clothes in summer and winter clothes in winter. I wouldn't change that.

9.) Would you rather have dark nails or bright nails all year round?
* Dark nails of course. I just love the look of dark nails, they look so polished. 

10.) Would you rather give up your favorite lip product or your favorite eye product?
* I would give up my lip product. Well I don't even use a lot of lip products.

11.) Would you rather only be able to wear your hair in a ponytail or a messy bun?
* I would wear my hair in a pony tail. I love my simple and neat ponytail. It is relaxing and keeps my hair out of knots.

12.) Would your rather never be able to paint your nails again or never use lip gloss?
* Never use lip gloss. You guys can tell how much I don't like lip products. 

13.) Would you rather shave your eyebrows and have none at all or sharpie them in everyday?
* OMG!!!! I love my eyebrows! Leave them alone!! ;)

14.) Would you rather live without makeup or nail polish?
* Live without nail polish. I believe that makeup is important then painting your nails. You can always keep your nails bare and keep them cuticle free so they look nice.
