Revlon HD Lipstick in Poinsettia Review & Swatches

Hello Beauties,

How are you all today? I hope everyone is having a great day and enjoying. As you all know that Revlon came out with new HD lipsticks and lipglosses. Of course I had to pick some shades up and have been using them for three weeks now.

Poinsettia is a red-pink shade with a lot of shine to it. Like in my last post I talked about the packaging of these lipsticks. I absolutely hate it because the cap nicks the lipstick while you are putting it back on. That means the lipstick gets all over the cap and my fingers when I want to apply it again. Although I am not impressed with the packaging of the lipstick, but I love the formula. The formula is really creamy and smooth and very pigmented. With two applications you can get a pretty good pigmentation and you don't need to reapply for almost four hours. One thing I will say is that even though the formula is creamy it does settle into the fine lines of your lips. I am actually really impressed with these lipsticks, I really love the shade range. Over all if you are a fan of creamy lipsticks you will love the new HD range, but if you don't like the packaging don't pick them up. Let me know below what do you think about these lipsticks? Maybelline Lipstick in Burgundy Beauty Review & Swatches

Hello Beauties,

How are you all today?  I hope everyone is having a great day and enjoying. Maybelline came out with two limited edition lipsticks, in a recent display. Of course I had to pick them up and review for you all. I have reviewed on shade already HERE so be sure to check it out, it as another perfect Fall shade.

Burgundy Beauty is a beautiful deep cherry shade. This is the most perfect shade for Fall and especially for the holidays. This formula is really creamy, and the lipstick does not dry out your lips. I do recommend wearing this lipstick with a lip liner, you can even wear a clear lip liner. The lipstick lasted me at least four hours before reapplying. You all know how much I adore Maybelline lipsticks they are great and the formula is just amazing. If you like this shade be sure to pick it up because it is limited edition. Revlon HD Lipstick in Petunia Review & Swatches

How are you all today? I hope everyone is having a great day and enjoying. Recently in Bed Bath and Beyond I came across a beautiful display from Revlon. Of course I had to pick some of the lipsticks up, from so many to choose from I ended up picking three. More reviews on other shades will be coming soon.

Lets start with the packaging and how I am not impressed with it at all. The lipstick comes with a clear lid and is housed in a silver tube. The thing I hate about the packaging is that the lipstick bullet does not swivel all the way down. That makes it harder for the cap to go on perfectly without messing the lipstick. I have lipstick all over the clear lid and I don't like it at all. Petunia is a dark berry shade with glitter in it, yes another fall lipstick.

When you first see these lipsticks, they remind you of the Revlon Lip Butters . The lipstick is really smooth, it glides on the lips like butter and does not settle into fine lines. The lipstick wore for almost three hours but there was nothing left at the end. The formula is really pigmented and non drying. Petunia has a little bit sheen to it with glitter, but once applied on the lips you can notice very less glitter. 

Over all I am impressed with the lipstick, but not enough that I want to go out and buy all the shades. I will still wear these, they are really smooth and my lips don't dry out while wearing these. Let me know in the comments below what do you think about this lipstick? Have a great day.
