Hello Beauties,
How are you all today? First of all Happy September! I just can't believe this, August is over and also the year is almost over. This year is going way too fast! But I just can't wait for fall.
As you all know that I love makeup products, and my blog mostly consists of reviews of makeup. For this month I wanted to do something new and different. So with that said, I am introducing to you SKINCARE SEPTEMBER! In this month I will be posting twice a week. One post will be related to skincare and the other post will be a makeup/beauty/tag post.
I am really excited for this. I struggle a lot with finding the right skin care products. So this month I will be discovering new products and also showing you the products I already use. My skin care routine is very simple, and soon I will share with you what it is!
So lets begin with Post 1 of Skincare September. In today's post I will be sharing with you five ways/things I do to keep my skin fresh and healthy.
1. Moisturize: I have really dry skin. I always keep my skin moisturized. Either it is my face or my body, I always have to have lotion on. Usually I use my Clinque Dramatically Different moisturizer for my face. These days it has not been working on my skin really well, so I am on a hunt for a new one. For my body I use body butters from Bath and Body Works. They smell great and really moisturize you knees, elbows, and everywhere else on the body.
2. Drink Lots of Water: This one is hard for me. But I still try to drink at least eight glasses of water a day. Water is just not only great for your skin, but it is great for you health. If you drink the required amount of water everyday, it will leave your skin very glowy and fresh. If you don't like plain water, just add a little flavoring to it!
3. Remove all makeup before bed: I know this is a hard one for some of you, and trust me for me it is the hardest thing to do! After a long day, I really don't want to stand there and remove my makeup before bed. But what I usually do is, after I brush my teeth, I start removing my makeup right away. Removing your makeup makes your skin breathe all night long. Your skin also needs rest, like you do, after a long day. Makeup can be really bad for your gentle skin, so make sure you remove it carefully and thoroughly.
4. Scrub: I love scrubbing! It just feels great, I usually do it while in the shower. It removes all your dead skin cells, and makes your skin smooth. Scrubbing two to three times a week, is great for you skins health.
5. Mask: My favorite thing for my skin is masks. I love all sorts of masks. These days I have been using my Lush Fresh Masks. I love that they are natural, and make my skin feel really glow and fresh. I use the masks about twice a week. I love pampering my self, and my skin.

We love the Simple eye makeup remover too! And we also used to swear by Clinique's dramatically different moisturizing lotion too but it just quit working after awhile. It's like our bodies got immune to it or something! Lol. Anyways, great tips and post! ;)
