Isn't this such cute packaging? Yes Physicians Formula always does some sort of cute packaging with their products. I spotted this bronzer a couple of months ago at my local CVS and had to pick it up to try out and review for this blog. As you all know PF is one of those drugstore brands that range from $6 and above. This bronzer for $11 and above, but I am pretty sure I got it on sale.
First of all lets talk about the cute packaging. I love how this city glow bronzer has some of the buildings in Paris on it, but don't be fooled. The buildings are only a gold glitter on top of the bronzer, once you start swatching and wearing the bronzer it does fade away. The bronzer comes housed in a thick black round container that has two sections to it. The first section is the bronzer and when you open the second section there is a brush (which I never use) and a decent size mirror. I love how PF almost always includes a mirror in their products. Packaging aside lets talk about the bronzer, at first look I thought it will be great and not too orange. But turns out this bronzer is too orange for my skin, and is not pigmented at all. I blended it out but it just won't blend like a bronzer should blend and it just settles on my skin. Also it did not last on my skin at all, it just kind of faded away. The packaging is pretty to look at but you can find great bronzers in the drugstore for much cheaper. Over all I am not that impressed with this product. Let me know in the comments below your thoughts on this product? Thank you for reading and have a great day.
oxoxo,
Annie
