Makeup Revolution Run Boy Run Eyeshadow Palette Review & Swatches

Makeup Revolution is a brand that is readily available in the UK and now that it is in Ulta in the US I love it. It is a very affordable brand with great products and of course my favorite great eyeshadow palettes. Every time I am in Ulta I go to the MR section and pick out a few things. The eyeshadow palettes were the first I have tried from the brand, they are great and super affordable.

First of all lets talk about the packaging of this eyeshadow palette. The eyeshadows come housed in a sleek shiny black packaging. The palette also comes with a dual ended eyeshadow brush which I really don't use at all. This palette includes 18 shadows in which 12 are shimmer shadows and 8 of them are matte shadows. As you can see it has a variety of shades in it, from neutrals to bronze shadows. I love the shimmery shadows, they are great and do not have a lot of fall out. Usually with shimmery shadow you don't get a lot of pigmentation but with these the pigmentation is there. The matte shadows were not that impressive, but they are a little blendable. You can create so many different looks with this one palette, you can create all matte or all shimmer looks. The shades apply very easily on the lids with or without primer. They do no fade or crease at all and last all day on the lids. I love mixing the top row shadows with the second row to create some bronzey looks. Over all I am super impressed with this palette. It is affordable and also very easily available. Let me know your thoughts below on this palette. Thank you for reading and have a great day.

oxoxo,

  1. I loooove Makeup Revolution eyeshadow palettes! I bought like a dozen of them eighteen months ago or so. Just so much love there. It's true that their matte shadows are less than impressive -- I've always found them to be generally chalky to swatch and lacking in pigmentation. They build surprisingly well 90% of the time, though, and they work well at blending the metallic shades together.
