L'oreal Colour Riche Balm Rose Elixir

 Hello Beauties,

Hope all of you are having a great weekend. I am just really excited to be spending some time with the family. Todays post is Loreal's Colour Riche Balm.

To begin with, I don't own a lot of Loreal lip products. I was in Rite Aid the other day, and came across Loreals Colour Riche lip collection. I looked around for a while and came across some really good lip colors. I picked up a couple and will be reviewing them soon (ofcourse after I have tried them for a while).

One of the lip products I picked up was Colur Riche Balm in Rose Elixir (218). Love at first sight! I have seen these Balms reviewed on many blogs, but never actually thought I would need them. But when I came home and swatched it I fell in love. I have been using this since the day I got it and I love it. I love how moisturizing it it. My lips are very chapped and I am constantly putting on a moisturizing lip balm but this time I wanted to try something pink. Rose Elixir is a soft pink, but it is very sheer and doesn't show up that much on the lips. It also leaves a glossy shine, and keeps your lips moisturized for upto 1 hour. A bonus I want in every lip product is that it also has SPF15 to protect your lips from the sun.

One of the most amazing thing about the Loreal Colour Riche line is the packaging. It is so sleek and the gold writing makes it look like an expensive product. I love the slight sheer cap, so I can see the colour. This is my first time trying one of the Balms from Loreal and I am compeltley impressed with it. I highly recommend other shades in the collection

Here are the pics:

Hope all of you enjoyed this post! Let me know in the comments below if you have tried out any of the Loreal Colour Riche Balms. I would love to know what your favorite shades are. See you soon and have a wonderful day!

Revlon Colorstay Brazen Desinvolte Quad Review

Hello Beauties,

Hope all of you are doing great and having a great day. Today's post is a review of the Revlon Colorstay Brazen Desinvolte quad. As you may know Revlon has a huge color stay collection. I have some of the lipsticks and I decided to pick up the eyeshadow quads. I picked up 2, and will be reviewing the other one shortly.

Okay so lets get to the review part. I love the shades in this quad. There are four shades starting with the top left there is a light yellow highlight, a light pinkish peach, a dark bronze, and a deep dark brown. They are great to create natural looks, or also using the dark brown for a light smokey eye. One thing I am really upset about this product is the pigmentation. It is alright but not that great, I mean with Revlon products the pigmentation is usually great but not with this quad.

I have been wearing these shades for the last 2 weeks as a natural eye look. One thing I am going to say is that I am really impressed with the staying power of these shades. They stay on through out the day until I take them off. Also the shimmer is not over whelming at all. I love how it gives a sparkle to my eyes. I would definitely recommend this quad only if you have a great eyeshadow primer.

Also another thing, I love the packaging of this quad. It's petite and great to throw in your purse!

Here is what the product looks like. Sorry don't have any swatches but will update soon!

Hope you all enjoyed this post! Let me know in the comments below if you have tried any of the Revlon Colorstay quads! Thanks for visiting and hope to see you soon!

Goodbye to GFC

Hello Beauties,

How are you all today? I know I haven't been here for a while and haven't posted for a while. First of all happy spring to you all! Even though winter is still lingering around, spring is somewhere in the air.

I know all of you have heard that Google has decided to end GFC sometime in July. This is really hard for us bloggers out there who spent so much time, and hard work, to gain our wonderful followers. Although GFC will be ending there are many other options where you can follow your blogs. At the end of this post I will be linking every social media platform you can follow me on, and yes I have a Bloglovin account too.

In the end all I want to say is thank you to everyone who supports me and keeps me motivated. I really appreciate all your comments and follows. There will be new posts coming soon. I have planned tons of NOTM posts and more. Please leave me your links on twitter or comment below so I can follow you.

Sally Hansen Tough Chick & Julep Maven Heather

Hello Beauties,

Hope all of you are doing great. Today's post is going to be a NOTM. Currently I am wearing Julep Mavens Heather & Sally Hansens Tough Chick. I am in love with this combo. Originally I wanted a golden color on my ring fingers, but I ended up picking Heather from my collection. It looks great with the pink.

Tough Chick: I picked this color up from Walmart last week for about $2, it is from the Hard As Nails collection. I was looking for a great light pink, and I picked up this shade. I am really impressed with the shade, it is a light pink color, and you can build it up. I have 3 coats on.. The only thing I was not impressed was the formula, it is very thin and watery. I guess you get what you pay for. Overall this shade is great if you are looking to add a real nice light pink in your collection.

Heather: This is a taupe metallic shade. I love how I only had to apply one coat and it was opaque. I love Julep's formula, it is not thin or dry. I am impressed with the metallic of this shade, it is not overwhelming at all. And also it looks great with pink. ( I wanted to try something different with my nails).

Confessions of a Blogger Tag

Hello Beauties,

Today I dont have a review, but I have a tag! I have been wanting to do this tag for a while, I have seen many other bloggers do it. So I thought why not try it. I actually really enjoyed this tag, it gives you a little insight on what I think about my blog. Hope you all enjoy.

*When did you start your blog?
My first post was in June of 2012. I was really nervous to start a blog, but I always wanted one. I have followed so many great blogs for a long time and in June I thought its time for my own blog. I am really glad I started blogging.

*Have you had any past online presence before (Other blog, YouTube)?
No, but yes I had a book blog before I started this one. It wasn't really anything. I did 2 posts on it and haven't been on that blog since like beginning of last year.

*Why did you start a blog?
I always wanted to blog, and I love beauty products a lot. I followed many beauty blogs before starting my own blog. And one day it just came to me that I also wanted to share my thoughts on beauty products and that's why I started it.

*When did you become serious about starting a blog?
I became serious about blogging after my first post. I was actually always serious, but a little fun doesn't hurt.

*What was your first post?
My first post was a welcome post, and it got many page views, and that's how I actually decided that I wanted to become serious about blogging and enjoy it at the same time.

*What has been your biggest challenge about blogging?
My biggest challenge I would say has been to keep up with all the beauty products. There is new stuff coming out everyday and it is hard to find the new products because they get out of stock really easily. Another challenge I would say is keeping up with the posts. Sometimes I vanish and other times I post often. Time management is all I need!

*Where do you see your blog in one year?
In  one year I would love to see my blog grow. More followers is always a great thing. I would also love to do different posts, rather then beauty.

*What is the most rewarding thing to you about blogging?
The most rewarding thing for me about blogging is the feed back. I love reading the comments of my lovely readers and all the encouraging things they say. It is so great to see that something you have reviewed other people actually find it helpful.

*What is the most discouraging thing that happens to you?

The most discouraging thing is when you know that people are not appreciating what you are writing. Although there will be negative comments, and people will criticize. You always have to move on, there shouldn't be anything to hold you back. Your blog is a place where you can express your self, and you have every right to what you want to write.

*What's your lasting inspiration or motivation?
My motivation is of course my readers. And my inspiration are other bloggers.
Hope you all enjoyed this tag! Leave me comments below if you have any other questions. And if you are a blogger I tag you to do this tag! See you soon & have a wonderful day!

Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Sweetheart Valentine

Hello Beauties,

How are you all today? Sorry to have been gone for a while from here and also twitter. I have been a little lets say lazy these couple of days. With working, and doing a lot of reading I haven't had much time to sit down and write a post. I have been participating in the bloggers chat on Sundays and it is great to get to know beauty bloggers from all around the world. I also want to welcome all my new followers. Thanks for following and keeping me motivated.

So today's post is going to be on the Revlon Balm Stain in Sweetheart Valentine. Okay, to being with I haven't tried a lot of balm stains and I am not a big fan. But I saw a lot of great reviews on the Revlon balm stains and thought to give it a try. I have tried Revlon's lipsticks and they are amazing. Valentine is a fuchsia warm pink shade. I picked up this shade because it was the only one that was standing out in the whole selection. And trust me I am glad I picked this shade out. It looks great on the lips, and applies very smoothly. I also love the packaging of this lip stain, I love how it looks like a crayon and the color of the shade it self is the packaging color.  Also to give you more product it twists from the bottom.

The stain it self is great, it lasts for a long time. I put mine on around 9 in the morning and I didn't have to reapply till around 2. I ate and drank in between, it did come off a little bit, but it wasn't a lot. The shade is really buildable, and you can have it light or really bright, it goes on just the way you like it. I applied like 4 coats to get the color I wanted. I wore this with some winged eyeliner and light brown eyeshadow. You can create many different looks with this shade. Also another thing I love is that you really dont need a lip pencil to line your lipstain with.

Overall I would recommend this shade to everyone. It has a nice and glossy finish. And I am in the love with the color.

Hope you all enjoyed this post! Dont forget to leave a comment below!

February Favorite's 2013

Hello Beauties,

I can't believe February is over. It was a great month. I turned 22, and many other great things happened! I am also excited for what March brings and also the rest of the year. Here is what I have been enjoying this month.

*Shady Lady Luscious Lani:

I am in love with this eye shade. I have been wearing this a lot in this month, alone on my eyelid, with some eyeliner and mascara. I think this is a great nude shade. Luscious Lani is a pink champagne color. It has some shimmer in it, but its not overwhelming. This shade will look great on any skin tone. I received this shade in my My Glam bag a couple of months ago, I don't have a subscription with them anymore.

*NYX Eyeliner Pencil in Gold Glitter:
As you all know I am a big fan of NYX. I have been using this gold glitter pencil underneath my water line. This is a great way to complete the look. This pencil has too much glitter in it, sometimes it gets in my eyes. I haven't used it in a while, but this month I have been loving it.

*Revlon's Color Burst Pink Sugar Lipstick:
This is a sheer pink shade, with light golden flecks in it. I love this shade for a neutral pink look. The only thing I don't like about this shade is the pigmentation, the color really doesn't show up on the lips very well. I have been using this with my eye look of the luscious lani shade. It goes together pretty well.

*BH Cosmetics Precision Eye Liner Brush:
I got this brush early last year, and didn't use it at all. But this month I started using it with my Maybelline gel eyeliner. I am totally in love with this brush. You can use this brush with wet or dry eyeliner. I have been using it with dry, and the application is great. This brush is just amazing. I love how I can do a thin and a thick line with it. The brush picks up the product very well and applies smoothly.

*Paulo Coelho Agenda 2013:
Here is something different, I have been using Agendas for a long time, but last year I fell in love with Paulo Coelho's agendas. I love how the agenda has quotes for every week also it is a very colorful agenda. I have been using it a lot this month, to write down my ideas for blog posts, products I want to buy, and many other things.

Here are the snaps:

What are your favs for the month? I would love to find out! I hope you all enjoyed this post!
