Spring 2015: Maybelline Color Tattoo Hibiscus Heartbreak Review & Swatches

Hello Beauties,

Maybelline has released their new Spring 2015 collection, which includes lipsticks, blushes, and also their famous color tattoos. Of course I had to hunt them down and review the color tattoos for you all. There are I believe five new LIMITED EDITION shades in this collection, but I was only able to find two of them. Two is better than none, I picked these up at my local Bed Bath & Beyond for $5.49 each.

Hibiscus Heartbreak: is a beautiful frosty pink shade with specks of silver glitter in it. As you all know Color Tattoos are my most favorite product from Maybelline, they are at a great price and last forever on the lid. I have a lot of LIMITED EDITION shades, and I am happy to have this one in my collection. Hibiscus Heartbreak goes on the lid very smoothly, and blends out easily. You can wear this shade alone or pair it with a pink or purple eyeshadow. Over all I am in love with this shade, and it is just perfect for spring. What do you think about this shade? Let me know in the comments below. I hope all of you have a great day. Thank you so much for reading.

New York Color Expert Last Lip Lacquer in Central Park Passion Review & Swatches

Hello Beauties,

New York Color recently came out with 12 new shades from their expert last lip lacquer line. I picked up a few shades and have been trying them for the last couple of weeks. The packaging of this lip lacquer is great because you can see the product from the clear container. Central Park Passion is a beautiful rosy pink shade with hints of mauve to it. Yes the perfect "Kylie Jenner" lip, but I think for some skin tones it will be too dark for that lip. The formula is super creamy and glides on the lips without flaking or tugging. I have realized that these do no dry out my lips, and stay on for a couple of hours. With one swipe you get an opaque color and don't really need to build it up. Over all I am really impressed with this shade, and it goes with my everyday look. Let me know in the comments below what do you think about it? Thank you for reading.

Colourpop Super Shock Shadows in Cop A Feel & Play Review & Swatches

Hello Beauties,

Colourpop Cosmetics which is an online only brand recently released a bunch of matte eyeshadows. I had to pick some up and have already reviewed some HERE and today I bring you more shadows.

Cop A Feel: is a beautiful matte soft beige shade with hints of peach to it. I love this just for an all over lid color, or for my skintone it works as a highlight shade too.

Play: is a perfect brown caramel shade, and for me it is made for the crease. I love putting this on my crease and than applying Cop A Feel on the lids.

The formula of these shadows is a cream to powder "hybrid" formula. In the pan they are cream shadows and once applied to the lid they are powder and very easily blendable. These shadows are super pigmented and are very affordable. Let me know in the comments below if you have tried these shadows? Thank you for reading and have a great day.

NYX Prismatic Eyeshadow in Fireball Review & Swatches

Hello Beauties,

NYX released new eyeshadows in their 2015 collection called "The Prismatic" shadows. First of all lets talk about the packaging, it think it is super cute. The shadow comes housed in a pretty round container with a clear lid. Also to open the shadow there is a small bow on the front and it just has the cutest touch to an eyeshadow ever. That is the first thing that sold me on these shadows was the packaging.

Fireball is a beautiful red-orange shade with little bit of gold in it. I just love how different this shade is, it can be used as an everday outter lid shade or to even smoke out your looks. The formula I would say is different from regular shadows. In the pan it is not powdery, and has a little bit of cushion to it. But once you apply to your lids it becomes powder and trust me when it does that there sure is fall out. I used this shade with a brush and my fingers but it seemed better to work with the fingers. It did blend out very easily and is very pigmented. Over all I am really impressed with the prismatic shadow in Fireball. Let me know in the comments below what do you think about this shade? Thank you for reading.

xoxo,

Colourpop Lippie Stix in Lumiere Review & Swatches

Hello Beauties,

In the past couple of months Colourpop has become one of my favorite online brands. I have reviewed their Supershock shadows and now it is time to review one of their lippie stix. If you have not heard of Colourpop they are an online brand that sells eyeshadows and lippie stix. Everything on the website is $5, but they just released blushes that are $8. I picked a couple of shadows from the matte line and thought to try out one of the lippie stix as well.

Lumiere is a beautiful is a pinkish mauve shade with a matte finish. This is such a super creamy pencil, and the good thing is that you don't need to sharpen these. The formula is creamy and glides on easily on my lips. I would say this shade lasted me only a couple of hours, more like three before it started to wore off. Over all the lippie stix is really smooth and very easy to apply. Let me know in the comments below what do you think about this shade? Thank you for reading and have a great day.

Valentines Day 2015- Victoria's Secret Angel Gold Eau De Parfum

Hello Beauties,

Happy Valentines Day to you all!! I never do these kind of posts, but I wanted a something little different on my blog. Today I will be sharing with you what I got for V-day this year. Hubby and I really don't do much for V-day because my birthday is Feb 11 and I get most presents then. This year I have been wanting to get the Victoria's Secret Angel Perfume and of course when I open my bag there it is.

I am just obsessed with the packaging of the bottle, the wings the gold writing everything is just perfect. The scent is very flirty and I would say flowery at the same time. I know for sure that this is going to be my signature scent. It stays on for a long time and even after a day I can smell it on me which I don't mind at all.

I hope all of you had an amazing day, remember love should not be for only one day it should be every single day. Have a great day and enjoy.

NYX Intense Butter Gloss in Napoleon Review & Swatches

Hello Beauties,
I am pretty sure by now all of you have heard about the new NYX Intense Butter glosses for the Spring 2015 collection. The other day I went to Ulta especially for these and of course the shades I really wanted were sold out. But I did pick up two shades that are perfect for the upcoming Spring season. The packaging of the new butter glosses is almost the same as the original, they just have a black cap.

Napoleon is a beautiful bright coral pink shade and screams Spring. The formula is amazing, the gloss is packed with color and with one swipe you get lots of pigmentation. It does feel a little heavy on the lips but it is not sticky at all. Just imagine the original butter gloss but a little heavier and more pigment. These do stay for a couple of hours unlike the original which I had to reapply a lot through out the day. The scent is the same, like a cake, and trust me you wont regret it. Over all I am really impressed with these new intense butter glosses. They have 12 shades over all and I will be getting more soon. Let me know in the comments below if you have tried these before. Thank you for reading and have a great day.

Jordana Cat Eye Liner in Black Leather Review & Swatches

Hello Beauties,

Jordana recently came out with a bunch of new eyeliners and a lot of different shades. I was not interested in the other shades so I decided to pick up the black one. I am a big fan of liquid eyeliners especially the ones that are super black. The first thing I noticed about this liner was the brush, it is a very fine point brush tip. The formula of this eyeliner I would say is too liquidy, it just runs on my eyes. I have to wait a good couple of minutes before it sets and I can actually blink. I have used this a couple of times and the staying power is good. It does not smudge or move from its place once it is dried. For less than $3 I can say that it is a great eyeliner for everyday use. Let me know in the comments below if you have tried this liner before. Thank you for reading.

New York Color Expert Last Lip Lacquer in Fidi Fuchsia Review & Swatches

Hello Beauties,

Recently on my trip to CVS I came across a new display from NYC cosmetics and it was filled with glosses and lipsticks. There are 12 new lip lacquer shades in this line, and I picked up a few. The packaging is the usual what NYC always does with their lip products. The applicator is the most amazing part, it is a doe foot applicator which helps apply the product evenly to your lips.

Fidi Fuchsia is a bright pink shade with a hint of red to it. Perfect for spring (which is hopefully coming soon) this shade goes with many outfits and makeup looks. The formula is very smooth, and very very opaque. With one swipe you get a true color of the shade, and also to get it more brighter you can do two swipes. This lacquer does not dry out my lips at all, and leaves a tiny stain behind. The wear time is four-five hours which is not bad at all. I will be reviewing more shades for you all very soon. Let me know in the comments below what do you think about this shade? Thank you for reading and have a great day.

Wet N Wild Lipstick in Wine Room Review & Swatches

Hello Beauties,

Wet N Wild lipsticks are one of my favorite lipsticks from the drugstore. Wine Room is a beautiful deep berry shade with hints of red to it. This is one shade that you can call perfect for winter. It goes on very smoothly and is very creamy. With one swipe you get an opaque color, but you can always build it up for a darker look. This lipstick is less than $3 at the drugstore and is beyond amazing. My collection of Wet N Wild lipsticks is growing everyday. Let me know in the comments below if you have ever tried Wet N Wild lipsticks? Have a great day.
