Colourpop Ultra Satin Lip in Spritz Review & Swatches

More Colourpop on my blog. Why don't I just dedicated my blog to all Colourpop products. They released a new collection for Spring/Summer 2016. Be sure to check out my other posts on what else is included in this collection. I'll link some posts below so you have an idea and it's easier for you to pick out what you would like to buy from the collection. Since Cp has release their ultra satin lips line I have been obsessed with it. So when they released a shade in this collection I had to pick it up. I love the packaging of this lipstick and the shade is just beautiful also.

Spritz is a beautiful mid tone pink shade, it is bright but not too bright. I believe this shade will look beautiful on all skin tones. It goes on very smoothly and evenly on the lips. It is very pigmented so you don't need to apply two layers. The formula is very soft I would say and not drying at all. If you are not a fan of liquid lipstick because they are drying try this formula and you will love it. This lipstick lasted me all day with eating and drinking. I didn't have to reapply through out the day, but one thing is that it did fade a little bit on the corners. This lipstick is available on the CP website and it is only $6! Be sure to grab your self a couple because you won't be disappointed. Let me know in the comments below your thoughts on this shade. Thank you for reading and have a great day.

Colourpop Super Shock Shadow in Wilshire Review & Swatches

As you all know I am in love with colour pop and colour pop shadows. I have been doing a lot of posts on Colourpop and here is another one. Recently they release a new collection called Kae Pop. Which is a collaboration with Karrueche on instagram. I really loved the super shock shadows in the collection so I decided to pick some up. Seriously CP needs to stop coming out with so many collections. Well whenever they do I pick some one or two things from each collection.

Willshire is a beautiful matte brown shadow with little bit of orange under tones. I love using this shadow for multiple purposes. For example I use it all over my lid for an easy everyday look with some winged liner. Or use it as a crease shade and blend it out with a synthetic brush. The formula of this shadow is great, it has that spongy texture and is very soft. This shadow does not crease or fade and lasted me 10+ hours. For only $5, I am in love with this shadow. There are so many other pieces to this collection so be sure to check out the CP website. Let me know in the comments below your thoughts on this shade. Thank you for reading and have a great day.

Colourpop Super Shock Shadow in Wattles Review & Swatches

Yes! I am on a Colourpop craze. I place and order every week because they come out with some amazing products. Couple of weeks ago they came out with their Spring/Summer 2016 collection and of course I had to place an order. The CP super shadows are great in quality and are super pigmented and affordable. They come housed in a round white container with a clear lid and the name of the shadow in the back.

Wattles is a beautiful beige pinkish shade that has a satin finish and has light shimmer in it. The formula of this shadow is amazing. I have only applied this shadow with my fingers and it goes on fully opaque on the lids. It is super pigmented and looks lovely with just this shadow on the lid. I wore this MUG coco bear shadow and it looked great. This shadow lasted me all day long and I am talking over 10 hours of wear. The shimmer stayed on, there was no creasing or fading. CP has done an amazing job with this shadow. Let me know in the comments below your thoughts on this shadow. Thank you so much for reading and have a great day.

Colourpop Super Shock Shadow in Flower Shop Review & Swatches

Why does it seem like Colourpop releases new collections every week? And I place an order every week. They just released the new Spring/Summer 2016 collection and I got some goodies from that collection. I haven't purchased a shadow in a while so this time I placed an order. The one thing I love about CP a lot is that they keep their formula amazing and packaging is always great. Also lets not forget about the price of CP products, super affordable.

So basically I am in love with this shade. As you can see Flower Shop is a beautiful green shade with blue tones in it. It also has amazing shimmer in it which looks beautiful on the lid. The formula of this shade is so soft that it almost breaks. I put a brush into the shadow and it started breaking apart. So I am not sure what is wrong with the formula of this shadow. But once applied on the lid the shadow goes on great and is super pigmented. This super shock shadow blends beautifully with or without a brush. This shadow lasted me all day long, and trust me it was extremely hot outside but this shadow stayed on. I am in love with this shade it is perfect for summer time. And if you don't want to apply this all over the lid you can apply it with a pencil brush under your lash line for just a hint of color. Over all I am super impressed with this shadow. Let me know in the comments below your thoughts on this shade. Thank you so much for reading and have a great day.

Colourpop Ultra Satin Lips In Echo Park Review & Swatches

Recently (in Feb) Colourpop cosmetics released a whole new collection. The collection is called Ultra Satin Lips. I am pretty sure by now you have heard of it. In this collection Colourpop released 16 new shades I picked up five and tried them. Now its time for in depth review for all the shades. I know some of you can't get Colourpop in your country, but they are working on worldwide shipping so keep your eye out.

Colourpop has kept the packaging the same as their Ultra Matte Liquid lipsticks. So no big change here, we are all use to seeing the glass tube. This lipstick does come with a doe foot applicator which makes it super easy to apply the lipstick onto your lips. Echo Park is a beautiful peachy nude shade which is great for every day wear. I fell in love with this shade the minute I applied it on my lips. The formula of this lipstick is just amazing. It glides on my lips so smoothly and softly, it also is very lightweight. Now these are a satin finish so if you are looking for a matte finish these are not for you. The lipstick lasted me all day but I did see some transfer after eating and drinking. The lipstick is very comfortable on the lips and seriously does not even feel like you are wearing anything. Now all of you know I have dry lips, so I did have to prepare my lips before applying this product. I just scrubbed my lips which I normally do. It applied beautifully and did not sit on my cracks or dry spots on the lips. The color did not fade away but after eating you might have to reapply. I think I will be wearing this shade a lot. It is a perfect everyday shade for me, but for some skin tones it might look different. Over all I am super impressed with this new formula and collection that Colourpop has created. Let me know your thoughts below. Thank you for reading and have a great day.

Physicians Formula City Glow Bronzer in Paris Review & Swatches

Isn't this such cute packaging? Yes Physicians Formula always does some sort of cute packaging with their products. I spotted this bronzer a couple of months ago at my local CVS and had to pick it up to try out and review for this blog. As you all know PF is one of those drugstore brands that range from $6 and above. This bronzer for $11 and above, but I am pretty sure I got it on sale.

First of all lets talk about the cute packaging. I love how this city glow bronzer has some of the buildings in Paris on it, but don't be fooled. The buildings are only a gold glitter on top of the bronzer, once you start swatching and wearing the bronzer it does fade away. The bronzer comes housed in a thick black round container that has two sections to it. The first section is the bronzer and when you open the second section there is a brush (which I never use) and a decent size mirror. I love how PF almost always includes a mirror in their products. Packaging aside lets talk about the bronzer, at first look I thought it will be great and not too orange. But turns out this bronzer is too orange for my skin, and is not pigmented at all. I blended it out but it just won't blend like a bronzer should blend and it just settles on my skin. Also it did not last on my skin at all, it just kind of faded away. The packaging is pretty to look at but you can find great bronzers in the drugstore for much cheaper. Over all I am not that impressed with this product. Let me know in the comments below your thoughts on this product? Thank you for reading and have a great day.

Jordana Sweet Cream Matte Liquid Lip Color in Tiramisu Review & Swatches

Jordana Cosmetics has joined the world of liquid lipsticks, like every other company is doing these days. Of course Jordana is a great and an affordable brand so when they came out with this line I was super excited to pick up some shades. I have tested and tried out the shades and now it is time for a review for you all.

Tiramisu is a beautiful deep brown shade and is perfect for every skin tones. At first I wasn't sure if I would like this shade on my medium skin tone but once I applied it, it looked perfect. The formula of this matte lip cream is amazing. The lip cream goes on very smoothly and applies like a dream. It is very creamy and does not stick to your dry patches on the lips. The shade is super pigmented so you don't have to apply two or three layers. I could not believe how fast it dried down to a matte finish and settled in to my lips. This shade lasted me a good six to seven hours on the lips and I really did not need to reapply through out the day. This liquid lipstick is not drying at all, it felt very comfortable on the lips and did not feel tacky at all. Over all I am super impressed with this shade and the formula. Check out my other Jordana posts to see which other shades I picked up. Thank you so much for reading and have a great day.

Colourpop Ultra Satin Lips In London Fog Review & Swatches

Colourpop has released a new line of the Ultra Satin lips. These are the "cousin" of the Ultra Matte Lips, as Colourpop describes it. They released this in 16 new shades and I picked up 5 shades. I have done some reviews on other shades already HERE , HERE so be sure to check those shades out as well. Colourpop kept the packaging the same as their Ultra Matte lips so nothing new here. It is a glass tube and you can see the shade through it.

London Fog is a beautiful red shade with tons of blue undertones to it. This shade isn't that true red and that light red it is the prefect in between red shade. At first I thought I would not like this shade, but once I wore it, it looks beautiful. The formula of this shade is pretty nice, it goes on very smooth but does not dry out to a complete matte finish. One thing I did notice about this shade is that you can feel it on your lips. Like other Ultra Satin shades you cant really feel that there is something on your lips. With this shade it feels a bit heavy I would say. It goes on very nice on the lips and is very soft, also it does not settle onto my dry patches. This shade lasted me about five hours with eating and drinking. It sure is transferable so be careful while eating or kissing. This shade is very pigmented so you really don't need to layer more than once. Over all I am very impressed with this shade and the formula, it is perfect for spring and summer. Let me know in the comments below your thoughts on this shade.Thank you so much for reading and have a great day.

NYX Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick in Soft Spoken Review & Swatches

Recently NYX Cosmetics has been coming out with lots of new great products. They also have come out with liquid lipsticks (reviews coming soon) and these liquid suede lipsticks. Actually these days it seems like every company is coming out with some sort of liquid lipsticks. From high end to drugstore you can find a great liquid lipstick. The packaging is super simple, with the name written on the tube. Also the tube is almost the shade of the lipstick.

Soft Spoken is a beautiful soft nude shade that compliments my skin very well. Finally a nude shade that I like on my skin! The applicator is sponge so it is very easy to apply this lipstick on your lips without messing up. Now lets talk about the amazing formula of this lipstick. As you can tell by the name suede, this lipstick is super soft, thin, light weight and creamy. Once you apply it on your lips you really don't feel like you have any product applied. It does dry down to a semi matte finish but mostly it is satin. As you all know my lips are super dry and patchy, but this lipstick did not cling to my dry patches. It gave me an even coat of lip product and did not dry up on me. One thing that I did notice was how long it took for the lipstick to dry. It took more than five minutes and still around 7-8 minutes it was that dry. The lipstick lasted more than 5 hours on my lips without fading or flaking. Over all I am super impressed with this Liquid Suede Cream lipstick from NYX. It is very affordable and there are a lot of other different shades in the collection. Let me know in the comments below your thoughts on this lipstick. Thank you for reading and have a great day.

Colourpop Ultra Satin Lips in Panda Review & Swatches

Colourpop has released a whole new collection of Ultra Satin Lips. Of course I had to pick up some shades and review for you all. As you all have seen in my previous post I love Colourpop cosmetics. It is a great brand and very affordable, it this is not available in your country it will be coming soon. They kept the packaging same as the Ultra Matte lipsticks, so nothing new here with the packaging.

Panda is a pretty dark pink shade with hints of purple or violet in it. This shade is beautiful for every skin tone, especially it will look great on darker skin tones. The formula of this lipstick is not that great, it goes on super patchy and is very dry. I noticed right away that it is not smooth as the other shades. It is such a shame that it is a beautiful shade but formula isn't great at all. As you can see from the swatches that it is dry looking and patchy. I have dry lips and it did not settle on my lips at all. You can layer this shade to make it look less patchy, but with dry lips it makes it look worse. But I am in love with the shade so I will wear it. It lasted me almost four hours because it cracked away. But the shade is super pigmented. Let me know in the comments below your thoughts on this shade. Thank you for reading and have a great day.
