Maybelline Crystal Baby Lips in Twinkling Taupe Review & Swatches

Hello Beauties,

How are you all today? I hope all of you are having a great day and enjoying summer. Yes it is still summer and I am loving it. Recently I reviewed a Maybelline Crystal Baby Lips HERE and today I have another shade for you all.
Twinkling Taupe is a very pretty brown shade with silver shimmer in it. I love the hint of taupe they have in this shade, it just brings out the shimmers more. The formula is really smooth and moisturizing, if you think the shimmer is large it is not. I love wearing this shade as a everyday lip color, it moisturizes my lips and gives me color at the same time.
This shade has a really sugar scent to it, if that makes any sense. I would say its scented like brown sugar, well that was my thought at first. Over all I really like the shade, and the formula is great. Let me know in the comments below what you think about this shade. Thank you so much for reading and have a great day.

Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick in Piccadilly Pink Review & Swatches

Hello Beauties,

How are you all today? I hope everyone is having a great day and enjoying. Recently Rimmel came out with new "reformulated" lipsticks and ofcourse I had to pick some up. The only lipsticks I have ever bought from Rimmel are the Rimmel By Kate lipsticks and I really like them. Other than that I have never tired any lipsticks from them. When I came across this DISPLAY I knew I had to get some.

First of all lets talk about the boring packaging, it has a blue lid and then on the bottom says the shade name. I think they could have done so much better with the packaging, I really don't like it. The first shade I picked up is Piccadilly Pink which is a really pretty medium toned pink shade and has no shimmer. The formula is really creamy and it glides on easily, and also is really pigmented.

My lips are really dry, but this lipstick keeps them hydrated and I dont even need to wear a balm underneath. The lasting power great, this lisptick lasted me more than two hours, which for me is not bad. Because of the really creamy formula they don't last a long time, which I don't mind at all. Many of my INSTAGRAM followers asked me if this lipstick had a scent to it, yes it does, but again I don't mind it at all.
Over all I am really impressed with this lipstick and just love the formula. I will have another shade review coming soon, so look out for that. Let me know in the comments below if you have tried the new Rimmel formula and what you think about it. Have a great day and thank you for reading.

Milani Bella Eyes Gel Powder Eyeshadow in Bella Gold Review & Swatches

Hello Beauties,

How are you all today? Hope all of you are enjoying summer, I am totally not enjoying it because of all the thunderstorms! If you have seen my last post HERE I reviewed one of the new Milani Bella Eyeshadows, and today of course I have another post for you all. I found these shadows at CVS recently and picked up four shades.

First of all the packaging is really cute, it is round and really compact. Great to throw in your purse, and also great for travel. These come in three finishes, metallic, shimmer, and stain. Bella Gold, is a really intense gold shade that has a metallic finish. When I first saw this shade at the store I knew I had to pick it up, I am a sucker for gold eye shadow. I did not think that this will be "too" gold, but seriously guys it is a perfect gold shadow. I am really impressed that Milani released these eye shadows, they are a great hit with me.

The formula is so smooth and silky, the shadow goes on very smoothly. With this shade I did notice a lot of fall out, since it is a really soft shade and powdery it had extra fall out. I did not mind the fall out at all, if the shade is pretty I don't mind it. I had Bella Gold all over my eyelid, with a matte brown shade on my crease and the look was done.

Over all I am really impressed with this shade, it lasted me a long time and stayed the same "gold" shade through out the day. I will have more reviews coming soon on different shade, so keep your eyes peeled for that. Let me know in the comments below if you have tried this shade or any of the eye shadows from this collection. Thank you so much for reading and have a wonderful day.

Wet N Wild Trio in No Scalpers Allowed Review & Swatches

Hello Beauties,

How are you all today? I hope everyone is having a great day and enjoying themselves in this hot weather. I can not believe that it is almost end of July already, it is crazy that the year is more than half done with. Well you all know that when Summer is here beauty companies come out with LE Summer collections. Today I have a Wet n Wild Trio review for you all, I recently picked these up at Rite Aid the other day.
Last year Wet N Wild also came out with these LE trios, this year the collection is from their All Access Beauty line. They have a variety of fun and everyday shades in this collection. If you follow me on INSTAGRAM you already know how much I love my Wet N Wild eyeshadows even though I don't use them very often.

No Scalpers Allowed has three beautiful shades, it has a shade for the browbone which is a matte beige shade, the crease is a matte purple shade and the eyelid shade is a shimmery blue shade with touch of silver in it. As you can see it has a great variety of shades to create a eye look. I love how each shade tell you where to use it, and it also comes with two brushes.
Lets talk about the formula, these are really powdery and not really pigmented. The eyelid shade has no pigmentation at all and is not blendable either. You really have to use a good primer underneath these shadows, they also don't last a long time on the eyelids if worn alone.
I really like the shades in this trio, for a little more than $2 I am okay with using primer (which is use anyway). I have not been that impressed with Wet n Wild eyeshadows recently, and thought maybe they uped their game with this collection, but it was a let down. Let me know in the comments below what you think. Thank you so much for reading and have a great day.

Maybelline Crystal Baby Lips in Crystal Kiss Review & Swatches

Hello Beauties,

How are you all today? I hope everyone is having a great day and enjoying. Recently at Rite Aid I came across the fairly new Maybelline Crystal Baby Lips. As you all know I am really big fan of all the Maybelline baby lips, I have reviewed HERE & HERE, so be sure to check those posts out and read my thoughts. I have a total of four shades that I bought, I will be reviewing them all soon.
The packaging is similar to the original baby lips, it comes in a tube with a clear lid that has Baby Lips written in pink on it. The packaging in my opinion is perfect for a balm. The Crystal Baby lips formula is has lots and lots of shimmer in it, hence the name Crystal. I like that they have shimmer in the balms, the one I have here Crystal Kiss is a sheer balm with lots of shimmer in it.
Crystal Kiss is great for everyday use and even if you want to wear it on top of a lipstick it is a great idea. This goes on smoothly on the lips and it does moisturize the lips very well. These are really sheer, but I am okay with that, you can see the shimmer.

Over all I am really impressed with the Crystal Kiss Baby Lips, the formula is great and I love the shimmer. Let me know in the comments below if you have tried these before? Thank you so much for reading and have a great day.

Milani Bella Eyes Gel Powder Eyeshadow in Bella Champagne Review & Swatches

Hello Beauties,

How are you all today? I hope everyone is having a great day. Many of you have heard that Milani has released new eye shadows and there are tons of them. I was really excited when I found a display at my local CVS and of course I had to pick some of them up. I have been using these for a couple of days now and finally ready to review.

First of all the packaging in my opinion is really cute. It comes in a cute little round container and has a clear lid, the shade name is displayed on the bottom. These new eye shadows come in three different finishes from shimmer, satin and metallic, there are a total of thirty shades released and they are permanent. I got mine for $4.29 each at CVS which for me is not a bad deal at all.

The first shade I have for you here is Bella Champagne which is a shimmery golden bronze shade. This shade is perfect as a everyday color, and you can also use it as a light golden highlight under your brow. Lets talk the formula of this shade, These are called gel powder eye shadows, you can wear them dry or wet. I have only tried them dry with a primer and I am really impressed. The shadow goes on really smoothly and also blend easily. This shadow lasted me a long time and I did not notice any creasing.

To be honest I don't see the "gel powder" in these, maybe I have to try them wet? Over all I really like this shade, and the formula is great so far. I will have the other shades up soon. Please let me know in the comments below if you have tried these and which are your favorite shade. Thank you so much for reading and have a great day.

Coastal Scents Hot Pot in Oatmeal Tan Review & Swatches

Hello Beauties,

How are you all today? I hope all of you are enjoying your summer and having a great day. Recently I ordered some hot pots from the Coastal Scents website, with a clear lid palette. I have ordered brushes and two eyeshadow palettes from them before and I love the quality of everything I have received from them. One day I decided to built my own palette so I ordered six shades from the website, and today I will be reviewing one of them for you.

These are called Hot Pots and are $1.99 each sometimes you can get them on sale for $0.99 which is an amazing deal. I picked up everyday natural shades, and I absolutely love them. The first shade I will be reviewing for you is Oatmeal Tan which is a soft brown beige. I use this shade mainly for the crease, and it blends out easily.

This shadow is really buttery and soft, you can use it for so many different looks and for $1.99 it is such a great deal. I will be reviewing more shades soon, I have a total of six. Let me know in the comments below if you have tried the CS Hot Pots before. Thank you so much for reading and have a wonderful day.

NYX Butter Lipstick in Hunk Review & Swatches

Hello Beauties,

How are you all today? I hope everyone is having a great day and enjoying summer. If you have seen my last NYX Butter Lipstick POST HERE you already know my story. If you have not read that post please read it and find out why and how I am reviewing these butter lipsticks for you all. If you follow me on INSTAGRAM you already know how much of a lipstick addict I am. I have been collecting for a while now.

Recently I picked up four NYX Butter Lipsticks, I reviewed one of there HERE and today I will be reviewing Hunk for you. The packaging of these lipsticks is really cute, they are good to throw in your makeup bag and don't take up a lot of space. Hunk is a really bright dark violet shade with blue undertones. For some people this lipstick will be perfect for the summer but for some they would wear this during winter. I think it is a great shade for both summer and winter.

The formula is really buttery and smooth, and is non sticky. I love these lipsticks for everyday use, they stay on for a long time and also they stay put. Hunk has a satin finish, which I love. One thing I did notice is that with this lipstick you need to apply lip balm before, because it can settle into your dry areas.

Over all I love this shade, I will be wearing it during summer and winter. These lipsticks are great and affordable, you can get them online or at some drugstores. Let me know in the comments below if you have tried any of the butter lipsticks and which is your favorite shade. Thank you so much for reading and I hope all of you have an amazing day.

NYX Butter Lipstick in Fireball Review & Swatches

Hello Beauties,

How are you all today? I hope all of you are having a great day and enjoying the 100 degree weather. Summer is really kicking in and during summer I love to wear bright lipsticks. Two weeks ago I picked up a bunch up NYX Butter Lipsticks which finally showed up at my local CVS. If you follow me on INSTAGRAM you have probably seen the shades that I PICKED up.

To start with let me tell you a little background story about me hunting down these butter lipsticks. When they first came out in Ulta Stores I went looking for them and all I found was testers or used lipsticks. So I picked up nothing, this was a couple of months ago. I wanted to purchase these lipsticks online but I always want to swatch my lipsticks before purchasing them. After hunting down more, I could not find the butter lipsticks anywhere, and a couple of days later I just gave up and totally forgot about them. Two weeks ago my sister calls me from CVS and says that they have all the NYX Butter Lipsticks and ofcourse I told her to pick all of them up for me. I ended up picking four shades and today I will be reviewing Fireball for you all.

The packaging is really cute, I love how the shades are the packaging and it says butter lipsticks on the side, simple but cute. The shade names are displayed at the bottom of the tube, and they come in a variety of different shades.

Fireball is a really bright almost red coral shade. It goes on very smoothly and is very creamy. I am really impressed with the creamy formula of these lipsticks, also they stay on for a good couple of hours. Sometimes I don't mind reapplying my lipstick, especially if it is creamy. One thing I did notice is that if you have really dry lips these are not good for you. I always clean (scrub) my lips before applying lipstick.

Over all I am glad I found and purchased these lipsticks. They formula is great and they price tag of these is amazing. I will more shade reviews coming soon so keep your eyes peeled for that. Thank you so much for reading and have a great day.

Fall 2014: Maybelline Color Tattoo in Creamy Beige Review & Swatches

Hello Beauties,

How are you all today? I hope everyone is having a great day. I am back to work after a three day weekend and just cant wait for Friday to get here. If you read my last post HERE, you know that I found the remaining two Maybelline Color Tattoos from the Leather Collection.

There are a total of five shades and I have reviewed four of them HERE, HERE, HERE, & HERE. Today I will be reviewing the last shade for you all in this collection.

Creamy Beige is a taupe tan beige shade. In the pan it looks really different but applied on the eyes it turns into more of a tan shade. I love wearing this one all over my eye lids with nothing on. This shade is also great for everyday wear, or you can use it as a primer for your eyeshadow. One thing I did notice with this particular shade is that it dries real quick. You have to blend it right away, when you first apply it on your eyelids.

Over all I am really impressed with the whole Leather Color Tattoos line, there are some really great shades in the collection. Let me know in the comments below if you have picked up anything from this collection also let me know which is your favorite shade. Thank you all so much for reading.

Fall 2014: Maybelline Color Tattoo in Chocolate Suede Review & Swatches

Hello Beauties,

How are you all today? I hope everyone is having a great day and enjoying life. Finally I found the remaining two leather color tattoos at rite aid the other day and I am going to be reviewing one of them for you today. I recently reviewed the other three, HERE, HERE and HERE. So be sure to check them out and that will complete my whole leather color tattoos series.

This color tattoo is a permanent shade in this collection and you will soon be seeing these in with the other Maybelline Color Tattoos. The Leather Collection contains matte shades but this one is not a matte but a satin finish.  Chocolate Suede is a really pretty dark chocolate shade with a gold sheen to it. It looks gorgeous in the pan, but on the eyes the gold does not transfer at all.

It is very creamy so it goes on very smoothly on the eyes. But one thing I dont like about this shade is that it sheers out very easily. Once you start blending it, it becomes very sheer and you have to layer on more. It did last me a good eight hours and then it started creasing on me.

Over all it is a great shade and you can always layer it on if you want a intense look. Let me know in the comments below what you think about this shade and have you tried it? Thank you so much for reading.

NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Antwerp Review & Swatches

Hello Beauties,

How are you all today? I hope everyone is having a great day and staying inside in the AC because I am. Too hot to be outside, so I am staying inside. As you all know I have been going through my makeup collection and trying to use products that I have been neglecting, so I came across a lot of NYX lip products and today I will be reviewing one of the Matte Lip Creams for you.

Yes, NYX has some great lip products and you all have heard about the butter glosses, so a while ago I bought some lip creams and never got to use them. Now I have been re-loving them (is that even a word?). Antwerp is a coral pinkish shade and if perfect for every day use. I love wearing this during the day because it is so natural and pretty.

The formula is very smooth, creamy, and very light weight. It is not sticky and you feel like there is nothing on your lips. One thing I will say about this is that it can be really drying at times, and it does settle into fine lines. You either have to exfoliate your lips or use a balm before applying this product. The lasting power is great, it does last through eating and drinking which I love.
Over all this product is a pass for me, I have many different matte shades and I love them all. I will be reviewing more in the upcoming days. Let me know in the comments below what you think about this lip product. Have you tried it before? I hope all of you enjoyed this post, have a wonderful day and stay cool!
