Maybelline The Falsies Volum' Express Mascara Review & Swatches

Hello Beauties,

How are you all today? I hope all of you are having a great day and enjoying every moment of it. So far this year has been good to me, I have been keeping up with my goals and I am really happy about that. So, as you all know the makeup junkie I am, I have so many mascaras. Some I love some I hate, and some I just can't stand the smell. Recently at the drugstore I picked up two different Maybelline mascaras and today I will be reviewing one of them for you.

Maybelline Falsies has been out for a couple of years now, everyone has used it and raved about it. I always passed through it at the drugstore and this time I picked it up. And trust me I am glad that I picked it up.

The Falsies is an amazing mascara, it builds your lashes and gives them volume. Makes your lashes longer, and the pigmentation is amazing. I hate how some mascaras are dry and don't go on smoothly, this one does the opposite.

It coats evenly on my lashes, it is not dry and goes on smoothly. The curved brush is amazing, the bristles do not clump your lashes. A mascara that does NOT clump? I'll take 200 please!
Over all I really recommend this mascara, it gives you the look of false lashes. The mascara has a great price, and sometimes you can even get it on sale. Let me know in the comments below if you have tried The Falsies before.
Thank you so much for reading. I will have more great reviews coming your way soon. Until then have a great day.

New L'Oréal Super Liner Silkissime in Black Noir review & swatches

Hello Beauties,

How are you all today? I hope all of you are having a wonderful and great day. So lets start todays post with how much I am not a fan of pencil eyeliners. I just don't like to sharpen them, and also don't like when they tug on my eye lid. They crease and never smudge properly. Well I am talking about the ones I have tried, so usually I stick with liquid eyeliners.

Walking through the drugstore (which I do like four times a week) I saw these new Loreal Silkissime eyeliners. A pencil eyeliner that claims to be smooth and lasts a long time? I have to pick it up. So I ended up picking two of them and today I will be sharing Black Noir with you.

Black Noir is a standard dark black shade with no shimmer. The formula of this pencil is amazing, it goes on smoothly. So creamy and smooth applies like a dream. I don't have to tug or stab my eyelid with the pencil.

Black Noir comes in a standard eyeliner pencil form, it goes on silky smooth and lasts forever. What more could you want in a eyeilner pencil?

Over all I am really impressed with the new Silkissime eyeliner pencils. I am 100% sure I will be picking up the rest of the shades in this collection.
Have you tried these eyeliner pencils yet? What is your favorite eyeliner pencil? Let me know in the comments below. Thank you so much for reading todays post. I will talk to you guys soon. Take care and enjoy!

Winter Skincare| Lush UltraBland and SkinDrink

Hello Beauties,

How are you all today? Hope all of you are having a wonderful day. Winter is at its full, and we having freezing weather everywhere. With this kind of cold, my skin which is already dry gets extremely dry this time of the year. So for this weeks post for the #2014BloggerChallenge I will be reviewing two amazing lush face products.

UltraBland Facial Cleanser: I wash my face with this cleanser in the mornings. When I was at Lush I asked the lady to help me find a cleanser that will remove my makeup and also be moisturizing at the same time. I ended up getting UltraBland. The most perfect and amazing cleanser I have ever used. I put a little bit of it on my skin, rub it in all over my face and also my eyes and remove it with a cleanser or cotton pad. It removes makeup easily and also leaves my skin smooth and moisturized. Also it leaves my skin shiny and very very clean.

SkinDrink Moisturizer: With very dry skin during winter time, I am always on the hunt for a great moisturizing lotion. SkinDrink is one of the best face moisturizers I have used ever. I love how it is natural, and comes in great packaging. The formula is thick, which I absolutely adore. An amazing moisturizer and a great price!

Yes, this is my winter skincare routine. I do not use other products on my face, like a eye cream or serum or toner. I just like to keep it simple with my skincare. First of all I rarely break out (knock on wood) and don't have any skin issues. I would not consider dry skin as a skin problem. Over all I am really impressed with the Lush skincare products.

I hope you all enjoyed this post. What do you use in your skincare routine? Let me know in the comments below. Have a great day and talk to you all soon.

New Wet 'n' Wild MegaSlicks Balm Stain in Pinky Promise review & swatches

Hello Beauties,

How are you all today? I hope you guys are having a great day! Enjoying the cold? These days it is all about twist up balm lip pencils. There are so many brands that have come out with these types of lip balms that it is hard to keep track of everything. Today I will be sharing with you one of my favorites so far.

I have been on the hunt for these for over a month now, and finally found them at Rite Aid the other day. I knew I had to pick up a couple because I have already seen swatches, and read reviews on these MegaSlicks Balm Stains. Today I will be reviewing Pinky Promise for you.

First of all lets talk about the packaging, these come in a standard twist up crayon balm stain packaging. At 0.10 oz, it is light and great to carry around in your makeup bag. Every shade has its name on the bottom of the tube, and the tube is the shade of the product. I like when companies do that, because people like me who have a million lipsticks/lip balms its easier to find the shade.

Pinky Promise is a light pink shade with slight shimmer. The first time when I opened the cap, some of the product came off. Also the it took me 5 minutes and a chipped nail for the plastic packaging to come off. But when I applied the balm to my lips I was in shock!
It went on so smoothly and creamy. One thing I can say is that they are very very buttery. Yes it does moisturize your lips (which I need 24/7 because of dry lips) and also gives you great color. I did not get the minty/cooling sensation from this balm, which Wet n Wild claims that it should.

Pinky Promise lasted on my lips for a long time, even after drinking my morning cup of coffee I could still see the shimmer. And my lips were really  moisturizing.
Over all I am extremely impressed with this balm stain. I picked up three shades and in a day or two I will be picking up the rest two.

Have you tried the new Balm Stains yet? What do you think? Which is your favorite shade? Let me know in the comments below.

I hope you all have a great day! Live everyday like it is your last day! Talk to you soon.

Physicians Formula Nude Wear Glow Blush in Rose Review

 Hello Beauties,

How are you all today? I hope you all are having a great day. Me over here is hating the rainy weather and the cold. Why cant it just be spring/summer already? So lets start with saying that I am not a big fan of blushes. I just don't wear them, and don't  like them. I have a couple that I rarely use, but that is just for special occasions.
Couple of weeks ago I spotted the new Physicians Formula Nude Wear collection. The first time when I saw this collection it look pretty and interesting. There were other blushes in this collection, I picked up two. Today I will be reviewing Rose for you.

First of all lets talk about the packaging, it is really pretty. This blush comes in square packaging, with two compartments. The first compartment contains the blush, and the second contains a mirror with a blush brush. The front of the packaging has a cute little gold bow (which I really love) and overall the packaging is light pink.
The blush itself is in 4 little cubes with light to dark pink shades. Also the blush has "Nude" written over it, which comes right off with the first application.
The formula of this blush is very chalky and very dry. Applying the blush with a brush is not a very good idea, the product does not apply well at all. I am very sad about this blush, I paid $13 for this and it has no pigmentation. Also this blush does not go well with dry skin at all.
I am thinking of using this blush as a highlighter or days when I don't need little color on my face. Over all this blush did not impress me, it is expensive for a drugstore blush also. I have not tried other PF blushes, and I don't think so I ever will.
Also I will be doing a review of the other blush I picked up from this line. I have not tried it out yet, but I have a feeling it will be the same.

What are you favorite drugstore blushes? Let me know in the comments below. I hope you all have a great day! Talk to you soon.

Maybelline The Elixir Color Sensational Lip Gloss in Raspberry Rhapsody review & swatches

Hello Beauties,
How are you all today? I hope everyone is having a great beginning of the year. And also I hope all of you are staying warm and sipping on hot chocolate. You all know for the last couple of months I have been lipgloss and lipstick crazy. Also there are so many new items coming out in the drugstore it is just so hard to keep track of everything. Today I am sharing with you a fairly new Maybelline lipgloss.

The Elixir line came out in Fall of 2013. There are 20 shades in the line, ranging from dark to light shades. I picked up a couple and today I will review Raspberry Rhapsody for you. First of all, I really love the packaging of these, it comes in a cute little clear tube. When you look at it for the first time you might think it is a really shiny lipstick. Raspberry Rhapsody is a light purple shade, which goes on very sheer but you can always build it up.
The formula is very light and glossy. This gloss lasts for atleast 4 hours without eating or drinking. Comes off right away if you drink something, and does not leave color behind.

Over all, I am not that impressed with this line. I only picked up 2 shades, I will not be buying more. Have you tried this lipgloss yet? Let me know in the comments below.

I hope you all enjoyed this post. Have a great day and talk to you all soon!

Wet n Wild Color Icon Eyeshadow Palette in The Naked Truth review & swatches

Hello Beauties,

How are you all today? I hope you all are great and enjoying the cold freezing weather! It has been crazy here with negative temperatures. We all I know that there are a lot of new and exciting products hitting the drugstores this year. Many companies have released Spring 2014 products too! How about we just stick to winter right now? One of the new products from Wet n Wild is their new 5 pan eyeshadow palettes.

Wet n Wild came out with 5 five-pan eyeshadow palettes. I picked up three of them, and today I will be reviewing one for you. I am a big fan of neutral eyeshadows. They go well with my skin tone and I just like them. I got mine at Rite Aid for $3.99 and it also had a $1 off peel of coupon. So a great price, for 5 eyeshadows.

The Naked Truth comes with warm brown shades. Ranging from shimmer to matte, it has all shades to create a warm natural look. As always the Wet n Wild palettes include which shade you should use on your eye. I never really follow that and usually create my own looks.
You might be thinking wow this sounds like a great palette, but lets talk about why its not. First of all, it has a lot of fall out, I just don't like that at all. This palette can not be used without primer, you really need a great primer for the color to really show up. Some of the shadow are really chalky and they don't apply to the brush easily.

The pigmentation for the shimmery shades is alright. But over all it is very lacking in pigmentation. As I said above a great primer is needed for this palette. With a primer the lasting power is longer, but without it will only last you a couple of hours.

Over all, I love the Wet n Wild eyeshadows, but this palette I will really not use that much. Maybe I will have better luck with the other two palettes I picked up. Have you tried this palette? What do you think? Let me know in the comments below.

Thank you so much for reading. I hope you all have a fantastic day.
 Stay Warm!

Victoria's Secret Sheer Drama Hydrating Lipstick in Can't Wait Review & Swatches

Hello Beauties,

How are you all today? I hope all of you are having a great day! I have not posted a actual review in a while, so I though to start of this years review posts with a lipstick review.  Now many of you know that I am big fan of all the drugstore lipsticks and balms. This time I thought to buy something different, that I have never tried before.

This is the Victoria's Secret Sheer Drama Hydrating Lipstick which came out in Summer of 2013. There were other shades but I picked up Can't Wait. I have never tried a Victoria's Secret lipstick before, this was on sale so I thought to give it a chance.

Can't Wait is a rosy pink natural shade. I love how it gives you a shine on your lips with very little shimmer. The texture is very moisturizing and almost feels like a balm. When you apply the lipstick, it goes on smoothly and applies evenly.

Also I love the packaging it is very cute and very different from all the lipsticks I own. Can't Wait stays on for about 3 hours, but comes off right away if you drink or eat.

This lipstick is great if you need a wash of color on your lips with a beautiful shine. They are very buttery and go on sheer for a natural look.

This is a great lipstick for those of you who like moisture in your lipstick. Let me know in the comments below if you have tried any of these lipsticks! Thank you so much for reading.

New Year's Inspiration 2014

Hello Beauties,

First of all I want to wish all of you a very Happy New Year. I can't believe it is 2014 already! Its time to have a fresh start and make this year an amazing year. One of my biggest inspirations for this year is to live life to the fullest. Do not look back, just live in the moment you are in.

One of the quotes that really inspired me was "You were given this life because you were strong enough to live it." This quote has so many different meanings for everyone. I take this quote as a positive way to look at things in life.

You are a very strong person, and don't let any obstacle in this life can't bring you down. Everyone has different ways of looking at things, but most people never looks at things in a positive way. So this year I want to change my point of view and looks at things in a positive way.

Hopefully this year we all looks at things in a positive way. Make this year your best year! What are your inspirations for 2014? Comment below!

Thank you so much for reading. I am glad to be part of the 2014BloggerChallenge!
