Covergirl Katy Kat Matte Lipstick in Sphynx Sphinx

When I heard that Covergirl was collaborating with Katy Perry I was super excited. I knew I had to pick up some of the matte shades in this lipstick collection. This collection is limited edition right now but will be permanent in July of 2016. These lipsticks come housed in a matte white packaging with the name on the bottom and Katy Kat written on the side. I am not a big fan of the white packaging because it gets dirty really quick. But over all the look is very cute. Especially if you are a cat lover you will love the little cat ears on the bottom.

This lipstick formula is not completey matte but semi matte. The lipstick is so creamy and glides on smoothly on the lips. It is created with shea, aloe and avocado butter, so this lipstick will never dry out your lips. One thing I noticed about this lipstick was that once applied it settled into my fine lines and my dry patches were showing. You can build it up but it doesn't look that pretty built up. The pigmentation is great. This shade is a beautiful shade and will suit every skin tone. Also I have been wearing this lipstick as an every day lipstick. It goes with every look and every blush. Over all I am very impressed with this shade and the formula. CG did a great job with this collection. Let me know in the comments below your thoughts on this lipstick and if you have tried any shades in this collection. Thank you for reading and have a great day.

Colourpop Lippie Stix in Hype Girl Review & Swatches

Colourpop has done it again with the lippie stix. I don't own a lot of lippie stix but the ones I own are beyond amazing. This shade that I am reviewing today is from the spring/summer 2016 line. As you all know that I am obsessed with colour pop. I have a lot of their super shock shadows which I use each and everyday. And the price point is just amazing, their products range from $5-$8. The one down side of CP is that you can't purchase it in every country.

Hype girl is a beautiful matte brownish pink shade. This is perfect for everyday use and looks great on every skin tone. The formula is so soft and smooth and applies evenly on the lips. I love wearing this shade with brown eyeshadow and a wing liner. This shade isn't only great for spring or summer you can wear this all year long. This shade lasted me 6-7 hours which is great, I did have to reapply a little after eating. It doesn't fade or makes my lips dry. Over all I am really impressed with this shade and the formula.  Let me know in the comments below your thoughts on this shade. Thank you for reading and have a great day.

Makeup Revolution Run Boy Run Eyeshadow Palette Review & Swatches

Makeup Revolution is a brand that is readily available in the UK and now that it is in Ulta in the US I love it. It is a very affordable brand with great products and of course my favorite great eyeshadow palettes. Every time I am in Ulta I go to the MR section and pick out a few things. The eyeshadow palettes were the first I have tried from the brand, they are great and super affordable.

First of all lets talk about the packaging of this eyeshadow palette. The eyeshadows come housed in a sleek shiny black packaging. The palette also comes with a dual ended eyeshadow brush which I really don't use at all. This palette includes 18 shadows in which 12 are shimmer shadows and 8 of them are matte shadows. As you can see it has a variety of shades in it, from neutrals to bronze shadows. I love the shimmery shadows, they are great and do not have a lot of fall out. Usually with shimmery shadow you don't get a lot of pigmentation but with these the pigmentation is there. The matte shadows were not that impressive, but they are a little blendable. You can create so many different looks with this one palette, you can create all matte or all shimmer looks. The shades apply very easily on the lids with or without primer. They do no fade or crease at all and last all day on the lids. I love mixing the top row shadows with the second row to create some bronzey looks. Over all I am super impressed with this palette. It is affordable and also very easily available. Let me know your thoughts below on this palette. Thank you for reading and have a great day.

Essence Sheer & Shine Lipstick in Cute Nude Review & Swatches

Recently I was in Ulta and came across the Essence counter and saw these new sheer and shine lipsticks. A lot of the shades were sold out so I picked up the only shade that is available. As you all know that I love Essence lip liners. They are great and very affordable, also they have a great range of colors. So I decided why not give the sheer lipsticks a try and here I am with a review for you guys.

First of all the packaging is just like a normal lipstick. It comes in a round tube and the lipstick has a cute E embossed on it. The shade is picked up is Cute Nude, which you can see in the swatch is a very sheer light pink shade with purple undertones, maybe it is different on other skin tones. I really had to swipe this shade a good five to six times for it to show up. This lipstick shade does not have any pigmentation to it, unless you want to stand there and apply it five to six times. The formula although is very soft and goes on very smooth. It is sheer, so it will feel a little moisturizing on the lips. This lipstick lasted me about three hours and I felt like it just vanished from my lips. I did reapply a couple of times through out the day. I feel like the sheer formula can do that with many lipsticks, also this lipstick is transferable. This lipstick is very affordable and if you do go check out they have other great shades as well. Let me know in the comments below your thoughts on this lipstick. Thank you very much for reading and have a great day.

NYX Butter Lipstick in Fizzies Review & Swatches

NYX cosmetics is one of those brands where I really don't have to think twice when I am picking up something new or even old from the store. I know that the product will be great, especially the lip products. I have already reviewed two shades of the butter lipsticks HERE and HERE so be sure to check them out. I recently added some new shades to my collection and you all know Spring is coming soon (hopefully) and this is a perfect shade for Spring.

NYX butter lipsticks are very smooth and super creamy. They are the best formula of lipstick in the drugstore. Very soft on the lips and super pigmented, they almost feel like a butter balm. Fizzies is a beautiful mauvy pink shade with red in it. Isn't it perfect for Spring time? You can wear this shade with a simple eye look of winged liner and some mascara and it makes you look pulled together. NYX butter lipsticks are readily available online, at CVS and at Ulta stores. I usually pick them up when they are on sale. The lipstick lasted me more than six hours on the lips, but there was a lot of transfer. That is the one con about the lipstick, it gets everywhere like on your coffee mug or if you are eating something you would see it on there. But other than that this lipstick formula is amazing and so worth it. Let me know in the comments below your thoughts on this lipstick. Thank you so much for reading and have a wonderful day.

Colourpop Ultra Satin Lip in Spritz Review & Swatches

More Colourpop on my blog. Why don't I just dedicated my blog to all Colourpop products. They released a new collection for Spring/Summer 2016. Be sure to check out my other posts on what else is included in this collection. I'll link some posts below so you have an idea and it's easier for you to pick out what you would like to buy from the collection. Since Cp has release their ultra satin lips line I have been obsessed with it. So when they released a shade in this collection I had to pick it up. I love the packaging of this lipstick and the shade is just beautiful also.

Spritz is a beautiful mid tone pink shade, it is bright but not too bright. I believe this shade will look beautiful on all skin tones. It goes on very smoothly and evenly on the lips. It is very pigmented so you don't need to apply two layers. The formula is very soft I would say and not drying at all. If you are not a fan of liquid lipstick because they are drying try this formula and you will love it. This lipstick lasted me all day with eating and drinking. I didn't have to reapply through out the day, but one thing is that it did fade a little bit on the corners. This lipstick is available on the CP website and it is only $6! Be sure to grab your self a couple because you won't be disappointed. Let me know in the comments below your thoughts on this shade. Thank you for reading and have a great day.

Colourpop Super Shock Shadow in Wilshire Review & Swatches

As you all know I am in love with colour pop and colour pop shadows. I have been doing a lot of posts on Colourpop and here is another one. Recently they release a new collection called Kae Pop. Which is a collaboration with Karrueche on instagram. I really loved the super shock shadows in the collection so I decided to pick some up. Seriously CP needs to stop coming out with so many collections. Well whenever they do I pick some one or two things from each collection.

Willshire is a beautiful matte brown shadow with little bit of orange under tones. I love using this shadow for multiple purposes. For example I use it all over my lid for an easy everyday look with some winged liner. Or use it as a crease shade and blend it out with a synthetic brush. The formula of this shadow is great, it has that spongy texture and is very soft. This shadow does not crease or fade and lasted me 10+ hours. For only $5, I am in love with this shadow. There are so many other pieces to this collection so be sure to check out the CP website. Let me know in the comments below your thoughts on this shade. Thank you for reading and have a great day.

Colourpop Super Shock Shadow in Wattles Review & Swatches

Yes! I am on a Colourpop craze. I place and order every week because they come out with some amazing products. Couple of weeks ago they came out with their Spring/Summer 2016 collection and of course I had to place an order. The CP super shadows are great in quality and are super pigmented and affordable. They come housed in a round white container with a clear lid and the name of the shadow in the back.

Wattles is a beautiful beige pinkish shade that has a satin finish and has light shimmer in it. The formula of this shadow is amazing. I have only applied this shadow with my fingers and it goes on fully opaque on the lids. It is super pigmented and looks lovely with just this shadow on the lid. I wore this MUG coco bear shadow and it looked great. This shadow lasted me all day long and I am talking over 10 hours of wear. The shimmer stayed on, there was no creasing or fading. CP has done an amazing job with this shadow. Let me know in the comments below your thoughts on this shadow. Thank you so much for reading and have a great day.

Colourpop Super Shock Shadow in Flower Shop Review & Swatches

Why does it seem like Colourpop releases new collections every week? And I place an order every week. They just released the new Spring/Summer 2016 collection and I got some goodies from that collection. I haven't purchased a shadow in a while so this time I placed an order. The one thing I love about CP a lot is that they keep their formula amazing and packaging is always great. Also lets not forget about the price of CP products, super affordable.

So basically I am in love with this shade. As you can see Flower Shop is a beautiful green shade with blue tones in it. It also has amazing shimmer in it which looks beautiful on the lid. The formula of this shade is so soft that it almost breaks. I put a brush into the shadow and it started breaking apart. So I am not sure what is wrong with the formula of this shadow. But once applied on the lid the shadow goes on great and is super pigmented. This super shock shadow blends beautifully with or without a brush. This shadow lasted me all day long, and trust me it was extremely hot outside but this shadow stayed on. I am in love with this shade it is perfect for summer time. And if you don't want to apply this all over the lid you can apply it with a pencil brush under your lash line for just a hint of color. Over all I am super impressed with this shadow. Let me know in the comments below your thoughts on this shade. Thank you so much for reading and have a great day.
