Birch Box April 2013 (USA)

Hello Beauties, 

How are you all today? I hope everyones good and enjoying this beautiful day! In today's post I am going to be sharing with you the Birchbox for the month of April. I have received Birchbox before, I think last year, but before going on vacation I canceled it. Last week I thought I want to try it again, and I signed up! Today I received my package and I was really excited. 

If you have never heard of Birchbox before it is a $10 monthly subscription box, they send you 4-5 samples of products.I love this idea because you get to try many different brands and different products. For a price of $10 a month, what comes in the box is always higher. For the year of 2013 this is my first box.

So lets get into what comes in the box. This month Birchbox has teamed up with Women's Health. I got 5 products. 

1:Mirenesse Glossy Kiss Lipstick: I got it in a red shade. I did try this lipstick and it is amazing. I will hopefully be checking it out in different colors as well. It is really smooth and applies perfectly.

2:Folle de Joie Parfum: I got a little mini of this parfum. To be honest I am not a big fan of Parfume's. This one is a floral smell and I think it is perfect for summer.

3: Nexxus Youth Renewal Rejuvenating Elixir: I haven't tried this yet, but it looks like a great serum. The packaging says it is a hydrating serum for your hair.

4:Simple Revitalizing Eye roll-on: This roll-on is for puffy eyes and dark circles. It has vitamin-B to soften your skin and make your under eyes look refreshed.I tried this twice, and it sure is great! It has a tingly feeling, and it feels refreshing.

5:Laface Laboratories PUR purifiying Facial Wash: I received a little sample of this. I haven't tried it yet. But it is a purifying face wash which gets rid of dirt and impurities. It also acts as a foaming cleanser and toner.

L'Oreal Infallible in Eternal Sunshine

Hello Beauties, 

How are you all today? I just want to say a real quick thanks to all of you and all of my readers. Thanks for reading my blog and commenting on posts. I really appreciate it.

 Today's post is going to be on L'Oreals Infallible shadow in Eternal Sunshine. This shade is a light golden brown shade with a metallic frost shine. It is a really soft sunset shade. I have only tried one of the Loreal Infallible eyeshadows. I am really impressed with the quality. The pigmentation is really great, also the color pay off is great. 

These shades are a pressed pigment. I love to put this shade alone on my eye lid and do a black cat eye eyeliner. Overall I am really impressed and satisfied with this shade. I would recommend this shade for anyone who's looking for a really great pressed pigment.

NYX Blush in Natural (07)

Hello Beauties,

 Hope all of you are doing great and having a wonderful day. I have been enjoying the beautiful spring days, with bright colors and bright nail polishes. Although it rained a couple of days but I don't mind that at all. I also once again want to say thank you to all my followers who have been with me since day one and to those who just recently joined my blog.

 Todays post is on NYX Natural Powder Blush. I don't own a lot of blushes, I was actually never a big fan of blushes. NYX products are very great and I have tried out a lot of them, so I picked up this blush and was not let down. Natural is a matte peachy pink blush, with no shimmer. I love the smooth powder texture of this blush. The finish is also really nice, and shows up very natural on the cheeks. You do get the "natural" look with this blush, looks like someone pinched your cheeks!

I absolutely recommend this blush for anyone whos looking for a nice natural pink toned shade. It is a great powder blush with great pigmentation.

Four Leaf Clover by China Glaze

Hello Beauties,

How are you all doing on this lovely Friday afternoon? Hope you all are having a great day. I am doing a real quick NOTM. Today I am wearing Four Leaf Clover by China Galze. I have had this shade in my collection for a while now and finally decided to wear it. Let me let you know it was really hard for the camera to pick up this shade. It didn't pick up the true color, or the true green. Four leaf clover is a bright green, and its almost a neon. This shade is great for spring. I would recommend this for anyone who loves a green shade.

Sephora Flashy Eyeliner Waterproof

Hope all of you are doing great and enjoying your day. First of all I am really excited to tell you guys that I have reached a 100 followers! I am so thankful to you guys for staying loyal and reading my blog. Because of you guys I am motivated to do great posts for you! Thanks again!

 I love Sephora brand products, although I haven't tried a lot of their products but I have tried some. Today's post is going to be on two of the flashy eyeliners from Sephora.

First of all, these are the most smoothest eyeliner pencils I have ever tried. They go on smoothly and are easily blendable. I also love how the eyeliner pencils are waterproof and perfect for spring and summer. The eyeliner lasts a long time, although it is waterproof it is a little hard to take off.

The two colors I have are Flashy Brown  Flashy Ultra Brown. Both of them are in the brown family and are very good for water lining. Flashy Brown is a deep brown with light shimmer. And Flashy Ultra Brown is more of a bronze shade.

I would recommend these if you havent tried out the Urban Decay eyeliners yet. These are great quality and really affordable.

Zoya Yummy

Hello Beauties, 

How are you all doing today? Hope all of you are having a gorgeous day. Today I have a Nail Of the Moment for you. I recently ordered 12 of the Zoya mini spring nail polishes. Today I will be sharing one of the beautiful spring colors I got. You all know I love Zoya nail polishes. Their formula is great and they have great colors. 

Todays color is Yummy. I love the name of this shade. Yummy is a sky blue creme color. I have not had a sky blue shade in my collection until this one. To be honest you guys I am in love with this shade. It is so springy and it brightens up my mood. I had this shade on my nails for about 1 week, and I kept staring at it! Yes I am in love with it.

L'Oreal Colour Riche in Cardinal Plume

Hello Beauties,

Hope all of you are having a wonderful day! As all of you know I just started buying Loreal lip products and I am absolutely in love with them. Today I am going to be sharing a lipstick from Loreal named Cardinal Plume.

First of all I love the name of this product Cardinal Plume sounds perfect for the shade. This shade is from the Loreal Colour Riche Caresse Sticks. It is a bright red-orange shade and has no shimmer. This shade is perfect for spring, I love the sweet tangy brightness in it. This shade is really moisturizing like a balm. Also, the pigmentation is awesome for this shade. You can apply it lightly or apply it with force or 2 times and the shade shows up very great. 

The lasting power is okay mine lasted 2-3 with eating and drinking. I love how they are very shiny too, it looks great on the lips and is perfect for any shade of skin. Also it is not only a great shade for spring it is a great shade for year around. Also lets talk about the packaging I love the golden packaging and how you can easily see the shade on the bottom.

Over all I give this product a 10/10, and also recommend for anyone who's looking for a perfect spring shade for their lips.

Beauty Blogger Tag!

Hope all of you are doing great today! Here is a tag I have seen on many beauty blogs and I though to share it with you guys. I tag all of you to do it! 

1. Is your hair naturally curly or straight?

My hair is naturally straight, and it is very silky. A hair pin doesn't stay in my hair for a long time, it just falls off.

2. What is your natural hair colour?
Light black.

3. Do you dye it yourself or go to a salon?
I have dyed my hair once and then I went to the salon. The salon just does a really great job.

4. How often do you wash your hair?
4-5 times a week.
5. Do you wear the same style every day or change it?
I try to change it, but usually its the same style everyday.

6. Do you do your own mani/pedi or go to a salon?
I do my own mani and pedis. I love doing manis at home they are easy and fun. I rarely go to the salon.

7. How often to you change your nail polish?
I change my nail polish every 3 days. I get tired of the same color and start peeling it off. So thats why I have to change my nail color often.

8. Do you polish your toes in the winter, too or just in the summer?
I just polish them in the summer with a bright red or coral. In the winter time I dont think its necessary.

9. How long does it take to put on your makeup?
If I am doing a natural look 10 mins and if its a more dramatic look with foundation its about 20-25. Lots of blending for smokey looks!

10. What do you do first? Face or eyes?
Eyes. I like to do eyes first because of any fall out. And if there is any

11. Do you "collect" makeup or just buy what you need when you need it?
I like to collect makeup. If I like something I buy it. But I also buy if I need something. Like the other day I ran out of my favorite eyeliner and I had to go out and buy it. I use the Maybelline Stilletto

12. How often do you wear false eyelashes?
Never. I think mascara is enough for me, its not that I have long lashes, but I dont see point of wearing false eyelashes.

13. Do you do a full face of makeup every day?
Nope. I just do my eyes every day.

14. Do you wear makeup when you are home alone (or with family)?
I dont think there is any point of wearing make up when I am home alone. And with family I only wear it if we are having a party or going out for dinner.

15. Will you leave the house without makeup?
Yes! I am not that person who has to wear makeup every time I leave the house.
 16. How many high end products do you have?
To be honest I only have a MAC blush. I am not a big fan of high end products. I believe drugstore products are amazing.
 17. How often do you wash your makeup brushes?
Every 2-3 months.
 18. Do you plan your OOTD every night or decide when you are getting dressed?
I decide when I am getting dressed. I used to plan the night before to save time in the morning. But I think it works better if I just decide in the morning.

19. How often do you change your handbag?
Not that often. I love my Michael Kores bag and I really never change it.

20. What time do you get up & go to sleep?
I go to sleep around 10:30pm and wake up around 7:00am

21. How often & when do you workout?
I try to work out 5 times a day. And I usually workout an hour a day.

22. Left-handed or Right-handed?
Right.

23. How tall are you?
I am not that tall only 5 1". What are high heels for?

24. Do you speak a foreign language?
Yes.

25. How many pets do you have?
None. But I really want to get a gold fish.

26. How often are you on Blogger?
Every single day! I love reading other blogs!

27. Do you read the comments posted blogs?
Yes. I love reading comments usually they have more information on the product and how they liked it.

28. Do you keep a list of products to try as you see other posts?
I do. I love checking out different products and especially if a blogger has recommended it.

29. How did you come up with your blog name?
I was listening to Adele song Day Dreamer and that's how I came up with the name DrugStore Dreamer. I know its lame but I am really happy with the name!

30. What kind of camera do you use for photographs? I use a Sony camera.
31. How often do you clean your house? (Daily, weekly, other)
I clean daily. My husband is a neat freak and he likes everything clean. He also helps me clean.

32. What is your favorite colour?
My favorite colour is pink. I love anything pink.

33. What is your favorite beauty/fashion magazine?
There are so many magazines I read. But my favorite would be Glamour.

                 34. Do you swear?
                   Nope. Not at all.

                                               (ok maybe under my breath sometimes)

                 35. What are you doing with the rest of your day?
                 I am going to be going on a dinner date with the hubby!
