Maybelline On The Mauve Lipstick Review

Hello Beauties,

How are you all today? I am really excited for this post. I have had this lipstick for a while now, and never have tried this. But last week I finally got around to using this lipstick and I am in love with the shade. This is call On the Mauve and is from the Maybelline Color Sensational line.

First of all lets talk about the packaging. I really love the sleek look. Also love the shiny tube. I love lipstick packaging's, they look lovely in your makeup bag.

On the Mauve is a grey toned violet purple with slight shimmer in it. This shade is very buildable, when you apply it, it is slightly sheer. The shimmer is barely noticeable, but I like how the shimmer is there. I do not own a lot of mauve lipsticks, but I love this one.

Even though it is not a everyday wear for me, I do wear it occasionally since I just re-discovered it in my makeup collection. It is not a long wearing lipstick, but it does last a couple of hours. It doesn't not leave a stain, which I like.

This shade will go great with a winged out eyeliner. Such a lovely look it will create. Maybe you can top it off with a shiny lip gloss.

Overall it is a great plum shade to have in your collection.
Here are the pics and swatches:

The Beauty Blogger Tag

Hello Beauties,

How are you all today? I hope everyone is having an awesome day! Today I have a tag for you! I haven't done one in a while, and have been thinking of doing one. I saw a lot of different tags on different blogs, but the Beauty Blogger Tag appealed to me the most. So here it goes!

Why did you start blogging and how long have you been blogging for?

I started blogging because I loved to read other blogs. And one day I thought, I can also share my thoughts on beauty with others and become part of the community. I have been blogging since last June so its been a little over a year.

Whose blog did you fall in love with first?

To be honest there are a lot of great blogs out there. And I love each and everyone of the blogs I follow. So I really cant pick one.

What was the first blogosphere hyped about product that you bought? Was it worth the hype?

The first hyped out product I bought were the Maybelline color show tattoos. And I was very glad that I bought them because they were definitely worth the hype.

What are you five favourite things about blogging and being a Beauty Blogger?

1: I love how I have got to know so many people then before. The whole beauty blogger community is amazing.
2: Blogging has me on the look out for new products each and every day. Before blogging I was not that much into new products.
3: The one thing I really like about being a beauty blogger is to get to read so many different beauty blogs. It makes me so happy where the bloggers started and where they are now.
4: My most favourite thing is that when I am writing posts, it makes me so happy. I just love blogging and it is great to get away from life and just focus on blogging.
5: I love the beauty bloggers chat that happens every

What have you learnt from being a Beauty Blogger?

I have learned that if you have a dream of something you can really achieve it. Don't let the haters bring you down. Just focus on the positive things, and you will go far in life.

Have you changed anything since becoming a Beauty Blogger?

In a beauty sense, yes I have changed. Now I am aware of more products, and know a lot of little details about everything. I have come across great products that I would have never found if I was not blogging.

What advice would you give to a beauty blogger just starting out?

I would just tell them to be honest and keep your blog simple. Don't make up stuff and post on your blog. In the beginning it will be a little hard, but work your way up. Like always stay positive, and watch your self grow.

Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circles Concealer Review: Light Pale

Hello Beauties,

How are you all today? Hope your having a great time. Summer is here and BBQ's are on! I love some good hamburgers! Today I have a review of a concealer for the first time on my blog! I have thought about it a lot, and I have come to the conclusion of doing different reviews for you guys. I usually do eye shadows, lipsticks, etc but from now on you will be seeing more of skin care, hair care, etc. So lets get on with this review!

This is the first concealer that I have ever bought. I usually don't need to use it, but recently I have realized that I have been getting dark circles. I really don't like the dark circles, and once I have my foundation on, they pop out from underneath. So I went on a hunt for a concealer and ended up getting this. I have not read any reviews on this before, so its brand new to me.

I would like to start with the packaging of this concealer, I think its really nice. They fit in a lot of product in a tube and I also love the puff they have for easy application. It is very easy to use, and applies smoothly, and then I blend it with my fingers.

The concealer it self is very great, I love the coverage it gives. It does brighten up my under eyes, and hides those evil dark circles. One thing is that when you apply it under your eye, you have to really blend in the concealer either with your finger or a concealer brush. It goes on very smoothly, but it does dry up in a while and gives a powder finish. One thing that I am not really satisfied with this product is that it sets very quickly. You actually have to be fast and blend it right away, or its going to set and then you wont be able to move it.

The shade I got was light pale. I am really bad with picking out shades for foundation and especially for concealer. But I think this shade worked pretty well with my skin. It did hide the dark circles and that's what I was looking for.

Overall, I would recommend this product for someone who is looking for a a medium coverage concealer at a low price. Maybelline has amazing products but this one just doesn't do that much. But I will keep this until its finished, and hopefully meanwhile find a concealer that suits my needs (one that doesn't dry up quickly).

What is your favorite concealer? I hope you all enjoyed this post! Until next time goodbye! :)

Rimmel London Kate Moss Lipstick 06 Review

Hello Beauties,

How are you all today? I hope everyone is doing fine! I know I have been gone for a couple of weeks, I have been taking a break from blogging. It just got too much, and I had to do some time management. But I have missed you all and now I am back! Its getting really hot here, although I love the heat but sometimes its just not bearable. Thank God for air conditioner's!

Today's post is going to be a review on Rimmel London Kate Moss Lipstick in shade 06. I have picked up a few of these lipsticks and I adore them. First of all lets talk about the packaging, I love the black sleek look. And also the cursive writing with the heart. It is just really adorable. And lets not forget about the cap with the crown on it. I love products with cute packaging, it looks really pretty!

Lets get on the shade 06 is a very vibrant hot pink shade. The lipstick it self is very creamy and goes on smoothly. This shade is perfect for spring/summer and looks great with some mascara and winged out black eyeliner. There are a lot of other shades in this collection that are perfect for summer, but if you are looking for a great pink shade this will be a great choice!

Over all, I am really impressed with this product. I would recommend it for someone who is looking for a affordable pink shade for the summer.

Here are the swatches/pics:

Do you own any of the Kate Moss Rimmel lipsticks? Which shades? I hope you enjoyed this post and I am glad I am back in the blogging world! Talk to you guys soon!
