Wet 'n' Wild Heatwave Nailpolish

Hello Beauties,

How are you all? I can't believe August is almost over. This month has gone by too quick. I am really excited for September to come. I am going to be doing different things on my blog in September I cant wait! Ok so today I have a nail of the moment for you. As you all know I love nail polish and I love discovering different individual shades. This week I picked up a couple polishes from Wet n Wild. Usually I don't buy their polishes, they are cheap and I have never heard good things about them. But this time I thought to pick up a nail polish from their Megalast collection. I was debating, but then I though why not just give it a try. The shade collection was alright, and I picked up Heatwave.

First of all, lets talk about the polish. I like the packaging its alright. But I love the pro brush, it is a great big brush, and covered my whole nail bed. The formula of this polish is great too, it was not that watery or thick. It applied evenly. I have two coats on and the shade showed up pretty well. Heatwave is a bright red-coral shade. This is the most perfect shade for summer and spring. I think I really don't need to describe the shade here, you can tell by the snaps how great it is.

Over all I am really impressed with the formula of Wet n Wild Megalast polishes. I think I will be picking up other shades soon! What do you guys think of this shade? Do you have anything similar from a different brand? I hope you all enjoyed this post. Happy Friday and have a great long weekend! Talk to you soon!

Maybelline Color Tattoo Pure Pigments Review

Hello Beauties,

How are you all today? Hope you are having a great day and enjoying the beautiful weather! Summer is almost over, but fall is around the corner! And you all know how much I look forward to fall each and every year! It's just the perfect weather, not to hot, not to cold. Alright lets get done with the "weather report" here and get into today's post!

Today I will be reviewing the new Maybelline Color Tattoo Pure Pigments. I heard so much hype about these, and couldn't wait until they came to a store near me. Couple of weeks ago, I was snooping around CVS (like I always do) and found a display of these! And surely I had to pick some up. Now first of all, you all know that I love the Maybelline color tattoos. They are very easy to apply and stay put for a long time! I have a review of them HERE and HERE

Ok so on to the Pure Pigments, I was really shocked when I heard that Maybelline was coming out with the pigments. I love the packaging, it is compact and great. The pigments are great as well, they are really easy to work with. I love the shimmer in these pigments. Lets get into the shades with more details.

Buff & Tuff: Great shimmery golden shade, with tiny glitter. I love to put this shade all over my lid. Love the golden hints it gives. I just swoop it around with my eye shadow brush and just apply it directly on my lids. This gives you a natural look, but the glitter spices things up.

Improper Copper: Is a really pretty dark copper shade. I love the pigmentation of this shade. It looks very lovely on the outer corner of your eye. I would wear this shade and do a heavy cat eyeliner. I also love the multi-dimensional shimmer in this shade. It just makes the shade on your eye look so pretty. You can put this shade all over your lid, and on the crease apply a matte dark brown. It creates a perfect "night out" look.

Here is a closer look:

I hope you all enjoyed this post. Let me know if you picked up any of these. Which shade do you like? Have a great day beauties, talk to you soon.

Revlon Lipbutters Wild Watermelon & Sweet Tart

Hello Beauties,

How are you all today? I hope all of you are having a great week! I have been having a not so good week, my parents were involved in a severe car accident, they had injuries. But they are better now! Keep them in your prayers.

So on a good note, lets got into today's post. Yes, finally I have a post on the Revlon Lipbutters! I have had these for a while, and recently started using them a lot. These are perfect for during the summer. I love how moisturizing they are and they are so pretty looking. Revlon Lipbutters have amazing lasting power, and they keep moisturizing.  You can build up the shades as well too. Lets get into the two I am sharing with you today.

Wild Watermelon:  Is a reddish orange shade. I love the pigmentation of this one. And it smells really great. This has no shimmer in it.

Sweet Tart:  Is a bright pink shade. It is not that bright, but the pink in it is really pretty. It is really creamy, and goes on very smoothly. This shade is the perfect shade for summer and spring.

Over all I love all the Revlon lip butters. They did a great job on making these. I will surely be picking up more.

Here are the snaps:

I hope you all enjoyed this post. Have you tried any of the lip butters out yet? Let me know in the comments below. Have a wonderful day! Talk to you guys soon!

Julep Nadia Nailpolish

Hello Beauties,

How are you all today? Hope your enjoying your week. Today after such a long time I have a NOTM post. I painted my nails yesterday with Julep Nadia. I have had this shade for a while now, and finally decided to wear it.

First of all, you all know I love Julep Maven products. I have received many boxes and have a big collection of Julep polishes now. I am very happy with their products and their service. The formula is great, and I especially love the packaging of all the nail polishes. They look so pretty on the vanity!

So lets get into Nadia, its a really pretty pearly yellow shade with shimmer in it. This polish was really thin for some reason, but then I thought maybe I didn't shake it well enough before opening it for the first time. Nadia is perfect shade for summer, and with two coats the yellow shimmer really shows up.

Overall, I really enjoy this shade on my nails. It looks really pretty, and I love the shimmer!  The last picture is with flash on, and you can really see the shimmer in it.

Here are the snaps:

I hope you all enjoyed this NOTM! Let me know what you think about this shade in the comments below. Thinking of joining Julep? Check them out here: Julep Maven :)

Ipsy Bag August 2013

Hello Beauties,

How are you all today? Hope you had a great weekend! I enjoyed my four day weekend but it went too quick. Wish I can be on vacation for forever! Today the nice mailman dropped of my sparkly pink Ipsy bag for August 2013. So I took the snaps and now I am sharing with you beauties!!

First of all lets talk about how gorgeous this bag is with the pink and gold! I love it, I will definitely use this as a makeup bag in my purse. I just love the gold so much, it makes it look very girly.

As always you receive five products in your Ipsy bag every month. So lets get on straight to the products.

1: Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick in Anarchy: This lipstick is my favorite product in the whole bag. I have been wanting to try out the new UD lipsticks, but I am so glad I got this! I love this shade, its a bright pink. I know I will use this shade a lot.

2: Michael Todd Facial Scrub: This is a  organic Jojoba Charcoal scrub. I have never used Michael Todd before but I am excited to try this scrub.

3: Pixi Lash Booster Mascara: Also, first time using a Pixi product. I have heard many great things about this product, so hopefully it lives up! The wand looks great of this mascara.

4: Mica Shimmer Powder in Bronze 17: is a mineralized eyeshadow. This looks similar to the Maybelline pigments. I like this shade, it will be great to just put a little shimmer in a natural look.

5: Pacifica Multi-Mineral BB cream: First time trying a Pacifica product. This BB cream "hydrates, primes, illuminates, and perfects leaving a sheer bare skin finish." Will keep you updated on this BB cream.

And that is all for what was in my Ipsy bag for this month. Over all I am really impressed with the products this month. I am really excited for the BB cream, lipstick, and the mascara. What did you get in your Ipsy bag for this month? Leave in the comments below.

Thanks for reading this post! Talk to you soon! Enjoy your day :)

Revlon Lash Potion Grow Luscious Mascara Review

Hello Beauties,

How are you all today? I hope everyone is having a great start to their summers. I am enjoying each and everyday. Already been to the beach twice, and loved the waves and the heat.

Today I am going to be sharing with you a mascara that I just recently discovered in the new section at the drugstore. And let me tell you one thing I am in love with it! It is the new Revlon Lash Potion Mascara. I have been using it since the day it got it, and I am just amazed.

First of all lets talk about the packaging, its just so magical and pretty. The purples and blues really bring out the majestic feel. Also its not too much overwhelming.

The wand is the great part about this mascara. The bristles are great and they really apply the mascara good. The bristles are made to give length, and I love how I can reach the corners of my lashes with the bristles.

I love this mascara, its not clumpy or dry. I do apply 3-4 coats, just because I really like a heavy look with the mascara. I got mine in black, which is a really great shade for a heavy look. Also this mascara does not smudge at all. I have a couple of mascaras which smudge, but this one is great.

Here are the pics:

Have you tried this mascara yet? Let me know in the comments below. Hope you all enjoyed this post. Talk to you soon and have a wonderful day!

Maybelline Baby Lips Review

Hello Beauties,

How are you all today? I hope you all are having a gorgeous day! I cant believe its August already! This year is going by way too fast! So for the first post of August I have a review on some of the baby lips. I have seen a lot of reviews popping up about the baby lips these day so I thought to do one as well.

I have had these baby lips for almost about a year now. I fell in love with them the first time they came out in the drugstores! They are amazing and very very moisturizing.  Baby lips are a new way of lip balms, with a sheer of color to them. I have three to review for you here today.

First I am going to talk about the over all product and then get into the shades I have a little bit. Baby lips are all what you want in a lip balm! They come with SPF 20, they are moisturizing, they smell good and the tint is amazing. These balms glide on very easily, and have a good lasting power. Although I love to apply these over and over again, because they just smell so good! Also lets talk about the packaging! Just look at these cute little balms with a burst of color! I love how they come with a clear cap, and look amazing in your makeup bag or on your vanity.

~ 80 Pink-Wink: Such a pretty barbie light pink. It smells like bubble gum, and I just love the taste of this balm!

~ 25 Pink-Punch: Light pink shade with small hints of shimmer. A little darker then Pink Wink, but still a great shade for every day wear. And also smells heavenly! Why couldn't they makes these edible?

~ 30 Peach Kiss: Almost a nude shiny beige, and it smells like grapes! I love this shade for everyday use!

Here are the pics/swatches:

Have you guys tried out the Baby Lips yet? Which colors did you pick up? I hope you all enjoyed this post! Have a wonderful day and talk to you soon!
