Summer 2014: Maybelline Color Elixir in Glowing Garnet review & swatches

Hello Beauties,

How are you all today? I hope everyone is having a great day and enjoying. So as you can tell by my previous posts that I have been obsessing over the new limited edition Maybelline lip products. I have reviewed two of them here and here

So, today I will be reviewing again one of the limited edition elixirs. The shade is Glowing Garnet which is a beautiful raspberry shade. I love the formula of this shade, it goes on smoothly and is opaque. One thing I can say is that it is really comfortable to wear this shade. It is not sticky at all, and stay on your lips through out the whole application.

I am so glad I picked up this shade, because the formula is amazing and as well the shade. When Maybelline first came out with the Elixirs I really didnt like them, but this time I am in love.

Over all I am really impressed with this shade, also if you are looking to get this shade buy it now because it is limited edition. I hope all of you enjoyed this post. Let me know in the comments below what you think about this shade. Thank you so much for reading have a fabulous day!

Summer 2014: Maybelline Pop Of Poppy Color Whisper review & swatches

Hello Beauties,

How are you all today? I hop every one is having a great day and enjoying the beautiful weather. So Maybelline released two new limited edition Color Whispers for the Summer 2014 collection. I picked both of them up and today I will be reviewing Pop of Poppy for you.
Pop of Poppy is a pretty rosy pink in the tube, but on the lips it goes on very natural pink. The application is beautiful of this shade, once you apply it your lips look fuller and very shiny. I love how this moisturizes and gives you a shine at the same time. Pop of Poppy is a great shade for light pink lovers out there, it definitely gives you that pink lips look.

The Color Whispers are a great find, especially when there are limited edition shades, and they are at a great price. Over all I love this shade, it is also great for everyday wear.

Let me know in the comments below what you think about this shade? Thank you so much for reading, and have a wonderful day!

Summer 2014: Maybelline Radiant Raspberry Color Elixir Review & Swatches

Hello Beauties,

How are you all today? I hope everyone is having a great day and enjoying. Maybelline recently launched their Summer 2014 collection, and of course I had to go to my local Wallgreens to see if they had anything in stock. This time I got lucky and there was a display and there was everything in the display. So it took me a while to figure out which colors I want to pick from the lip collection. I ended up picking 2 color whispers and 2 elixirs.

First of all lets talk about the packaging, for me it was alright. Nothing out of the ordinary, but I do have to say that these are really small for the price you pay. I have bought the Elixirs before and I was not a big fan of them, but boy this time they did a great job.

The color selection in this collection ranges from pinks to coral. One of the shades I picked up is Radiant Raspberry, which is a bright creme raspberry shade. It does not have any shimmer or sparkle it is a creme shade. The application is really easy, it is bright with two layers and if you want just a little bit of it one is layer is great too. The pigmentation is great, it is really opaque at first layer and you can build it up too.

The formula is thick, but really moisturizing. The gloss goes on very creamy and blends easily, also it does not transfer to the corners of your lips. Also before I forget, these do have a light sweet scent to them which I don't mind at all.

Over all I am impressed with the shades in this collection and also the pigmentation of this collection. I will be reviewing more products from this collection in posts ahead.

I hope all of you enjoyed this post, let me know in the comments below if you have picked up anything from this collection. Thank you so much for reading and have a wonderful day.

Milani Lipstick in Pink Love review & swatches

 Hello Beauties,

How are you all today? I hope everyone is having a wonderful day. So recently I have been obsessed with Milani lipsticks and I have done a couple of reviews on them here and here. Today I have another beautiful shade to review for you guys. Keep on reading!

Milani released a couple of shades for the Spring 2014 line and I picked up four of them. The shade that stood out most to me was Pink Love, I knew I had to have this in my life and I am glad I purchased it.

Pink Love is a creme soft pink shade. It is perfect for spring and summer, the soft pink really looks great. Because this is a creme shade it goes on smoothly on the lips. I always apply a balm before applying any lipstick so I think that helps too. This shade is really great for a quick pop of color, you just need one swipe and its opaque.

Over all I am impressed with this lipstick and the shade and all the shades that Milani has created so far. Let me know in the comments below what do you think about this shade? I hope all of you enjoyed this post, have a gorgeous day!

Maybelline Volum' Express Pumped Up Colossal Mascara Review

Hello Beauties,

How are you all today? I hope all of you are having a great day and enjoying the beautiful weather! So browsing through Walmart the other day I came across a small display of the new Maybelline Volum Express Pumped Up Colossal Mascara. The packaging just drew me in and of course I had to pick one up.

I have been wearing this mascara for a couple of days now and I love it. My collection mostly consists of Maybelline mascaras so I knew this one wont be a let down. The formula is great if you like to apply many coats to your lashes, it does not dry quickly. I put on three coats and my lashes had volume and length.

The wand comes with a twist design and the brush has thick bristles. I like the brush a lot because you can really get into the corner of your eyes. I have not used this mascara on my lower lashes, but I think it will not work well.

Over all I am really impressed with this mascara, the staying power is great. It does not flake and it keeps the hold. If you are a fan of Maybelline mascaras you should really try this one, I am pretty sure you will love it!

I hope all of you have a great day and enjoyed this post. Let me know in the comments below what are your favorite Maybelline mascaras?

Rimmel Stay Matte Primer Review

Hello Beauties,

How are you all today? I hope everyone is having a great day! Recently I was in the drugstore and saw that Rimmel products were 50% off, so I browsed around and picked up the Rimmel Stay Matte Primer.

I am not a big fan of primers, I just apply my foundation straight on. But couple of weeks ago I tried the Maybelline Baby Skin and I liked it. I have been hearing great things about the matte primer, so I thought to give it a try.

To start with the primer comes in a tube, and the price is great. It is a matte primer and it does a great job to keep you matte for six to seven hours. I applied this before my foundation, but it also recommends to apply after you have put on your makeup. The product is a white cream but once you apply it on your face and blend it in it smooths out to nothing and gives your foundation a great base.

I don't wear foundation every single day, but there are days when I need a matte look I will be using this primer. Next time I am thinking of mixing this in with my foundation and then applying them both together. It also is great for minimizing pores, although I did not see a huge difference but it did take care of some of the pores.

Over all I am impressed with this product and then on the other hand it is not holy grail status. I will be using this primer occasionally with my liquid foundation.
I hope all of you enjoyed this post, let me know in the comments below if you have tried this primer yet. Have a great day everyone!

Maybelline Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser Review

Hello Beauties,

How are you all today? I hope everyone is having a great day and enjoying! I have been enjoying the beautiful weather out! Most of you have heard about the new Baby Skin that Maybelline released a couple of months ago, so today I thought to review it for you guys. I picked it up when it first launched and started using it right away.

First of all lets talk about the packaging, it comes in a small blue tube with Baby Skin written on it. It is a 0.74oz tube and I got mine for about under six dollars, which is not a bad price. When I first got Baby Skin I was really excited to use it because of the term "Pore Eraser."

Application is really easy, the tube dispenses a translucent shade of primer and you can use your fingers or a foundation brush to apply it on your face. After applying and blending it on your face, your skin feels soft almost "baby like" and the primer fills the pores instantly. I have tried this all alone on my skin and I love it that way! Also it is great under foundation, it lasts a long time with foundation.
There is no creasing or anything, the primer stays put on your skin and does not dry your skin. If using a foundation you can always mix it in with it or just apply it first on your skin and then apply the foundation.
Over all it does erase my pores but not all of them. It is a great primer and it smooths out your skin a lot, it is also a great base for your foundation. I would recommend this for you if you are looking for an affordable primer, and don't have dry skin.

Let me know in the comments below if you have tried this primer and what you think about it? I hope all of you enjoyed this post! Also have a great day!

Maybelline Baby Lips Pink'ed Limited Edition Collection Review & Swatches

 Hello Beauties,

How are you all today? Yes the weather has been great it is going to be 60 degrees out today! I have my windows open and I am loving the wind! All of you know that I love and adore Maybelline Baby Lips, so when I heard that they are coming out with a new collection I had to have it, especially that it was Limited Edition.
In this collection which is called Pink'ed, they released five shades. All the shades have a fruity smell to them and all have different colors. The packaging is the same as the regular baby lips, and has the same bubble writing.

* Pop of Pink: Light bubble gum pink
* Rose Rush: Orange pink

* Mad for Magenta: Bright pink
* Blush Burst: Baby pink
 * Very Berry: Purplish Pink

All the five shades are pretty, they have a really nice pink tone to them. One thing that I have noticed is that I have to reapply these a lot through out the day. They don't stay on for a long time, which means your lips wont stay moisturized at all. That's the one let down, other then that I am in love with the scent and the shade collection.

I hope all of you enjoyed this post. Let me know in the comments below what do you think about this collection. Have a very nice day!

Maybelline Dare To Go Nude Spring 2014: Eyeshadow Quad in Taupe Tease review & swatches

Hello Beauties,

How are you all today? I hope everyone is having a great day and enjoying the sunshine finally. I think by now the whole world knows that Maybelline has come out with the Dare To Go Nude collection for spring of 2014. In that collection they released four limited edition eyeshadow quads. You all know that I am a big fan of Maybelline and I had to pick all four of these out. I have already reviewed one of them HERE

Today I will be reviewing Taupe Tease for you. Of course this collection has all nudes so this quad is great for a shimmery smokey look.

Taupe Tease comes with three shimmery shades and one matte shade. It starts with the highlight shade which is a shimmery white then goes to a very shimmery light cream shade and a shimmer filled taupe shade finally they have the matte black shade.
I am really liking the shade combination in this quad, it has great shades to create so many different looks with. The pigmentation is great, the shades go on soft and smoothly. I always apply a primer underneath just to make the shades stay on a little bit longer.
Over all I am really impressed with this quad, it has great shades and is great for day or night looks. I hope all of you enjoyed this post, let me know in the comments below if you have this quad and what you think about it.
