Revlon ColorStay Moisture Stain in Rio Rush Review & Swatches

Hello Beauties,

How are you all today? I hope all of you are having a great day and enjoying the sunny weather! I know everyone in the beauty world has seen or heard about the new Revlon Colorstay moisture stains. They are new and the shade collection is amazing. I was in CVS like two weeks ago, and I was not expecting for these to pop up this soon. So of course I had to pick a couple up and try them.

So first of all lets talk about what this moisture stain claims to be. It suppose to be a lipstick which is long wearing, also a moisturizing balm and a shiny gloss. So with that in mind lets talk about the packaging real quick. I think it is sort of bulky packaging, but it is different than anything I have seen before. The shade is the color of the tube but sometimes it is not the same. The applicator is doe-foot but it is pointy so you can really make a shape of your lips when you are applying this.

Rio Rush is a bright pink shade that is perfect for summer. It is a cream finish with no shimmer but it is really shiny and glossy. I am not a fan of the formula on this one, it is really liquidy and is not consistent at all. It is also patchy, to get a really opaque application you have to apply it three or four times. At first it is very liquidy and then it does dry down. My lips are moisturized with this lip stain, and it does leave a color behind. The staying power is not that good. It stays on for a couple of hours like three, but then you see no color on your lips.

I do like the formula once its dried, and it is not sticky at all, which I love. Over all I am impressed with this shade, but just not impressed with the price they are $9.99 at drugstores. I think that is a little too much for a drugstore lipstain. I have a total of eight shades, so more reviews will be coming soon. I hope you all enjoyed this post, let me know in the comments below if you have tried this line. What is your favorite shade?

Thank you so much for reading, I hope all of you have an amazing day. Follow me on INSTAGRAM I post everyday and I have more pictures of these lipstains on my INSTAGRAM

NYX Wonder Pencil in Medium Review

Hello Beauties,
How are you all today? I hope everyone is having a great day and enjoying. I am enjoying the beautiful weather out here! It is so beautiful and sunny out here. Today I will be reviewing NYX Wonder Eye Pencil for you all. I picked this pencil up a couple of months ago and I totally forgot to review it for you guys. So here it is today!
First of all lets talk about all the things this pencil can do. It is made for use on the eyes or face, yes its a multitasker! I love using this pencil to brighten up my eyes, I run it along my water line and instant glow! This pencil can also be used as a lip liner or even to cover any blemishes on your face.
I have used it on my face to cover a small pimple, it is not full coverage but it does cover most of it. It blends out easily on your face and does not look cakey. The formula is great, it is pigmented and also soft and smooth. You can easily blend it out or easily apply to your waterline. There is no tugging or pulling involved, it glides on smoothly.
Over all I really like this pencil, I use it for days where I need to wake my eyes up and glide it on my waterline. I hope you all liked this post. Let me know in the comments below if you have tried this pencil before. Have a wonderful day!

L'Oreal Mega Volume Miss Manga Mascara Review

Hello Beauties,

How are you all today? I hope all of you are having an amazing day. As I walked into CVS last week my eyes went straight to the new display of L'oreal mascaras and yes it was the new Miss Manga mascara. Of course I had to pick one up, and I was really excited to use it. I did not even have to hunt for this mascara it was right there for me.

Alright lets start with the packaging, it is beautiful. When I first started seeing pictures of this mascara on Instagram I knew I needed it in my life. It has beautiful purple shade and it is so pretty! So of course "beautiful packaging" sucked me in and I had to get this mascara no matter what.

I have been using this mascara for a couple of days now and I can say that I love it. I got the shade blackest black and it really is what it claims to be very black. The most exciting part of this mascara is the 360 degree wand! This is so different then anything I have tried before, I love the concept of the 360 degree wand, it really gets in to the lashes and it is good at separating the lashes too.
The formula is great too, it is not clumpy at all. I love that I can do many layers and the formula stays the same for each layer. It gives my lashes a lot of volume and length. Also it does not smudge at all, I am a person who tends to rub my eyes a lot, and this mascara does not move.

Over all I am really impressed with everything about this mascara. It is great for upper and bottom lashes. Have you tried this mascara? What do you think about it. Let me know in the comments below. I hope all of you have a wonderful day and enjoy!

NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Cashmere review & swatches

Hello Beauties,

How are you all today? I hope everyone is having a great day and enjoying. From my recent post you all know that my local CVS has started carrying NYX cosmetics. Since they go on sale often, I decided to pick up a bunch of jumbo pencils. Today I will be reviewing one of them for you that I really enjoy.
I picked up Cashmere and I thought it will be a great base for golden eyeshadows. Cashmere is a golden brown shade with lights shimmer, I love using it as a base for a matte shade. It gives the perfect amount of shimmer, and makes the shades appear more vibrant.
I just love the formula of Cashmere, it is so soft and creamy. It blends like a dream, and the shimmer is more vibrant once blended. It does not crease with or without another eyeshadow on. Another thing with this shade I noticed is that there is not tugging involved, it applies very smoothly and also blends smoothly too.

Over all I love this shade, you can use it with any eye look or any color shadow. Let me know in the comments below if you have tried this shade. Do you love it or hate it? Thank you so much for reading. I hope all of you have an amazing day.

NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk review & swatches

Hello Beauties,

How are you all doing today? I hope everyone is having a great day. I am NOT enjoying the rainy weather, it is totally muggy and I don't like rain. Well at least it is not snow, I can actually see the grass these days. Alright lets put the weather aside and get into this post, recently CVS started carrying NYX products and I have been picking some up when to go on BOG1/2.

Recently I picked up some jumbo pencils from NYX, every time I went in there Milk was always sold out, but time time they had it. I have tried one of the NYX jumbo pencils and I really like them. I have heard many great things about Milk and always wanted to try it. First of all lets talk about the packaging, it is a standard eye pencil with a jumbo tip, and you have to sharpen it.

Milk is a very creamy white opaque shade. I use this as a base and it works great with less pigmented eyeshadows. It is also great as a base for shades like green or blue, it makes the shades very vibrant. I just apply it all over my lid and then blend right away with my finger, this does dry quickly so I just make sure I get my blending done quick.

Over all I really like this shade, it is smooth and creamy. Wears for a long time and does not crease, so my shadows stay on longer and look vibrant. Let me know in the comments below if you have tried this jumbo pencil and what you think about it. I have more shades, and I will be reviewing them soon. I hope all of you have a wonderful day and enjoyed this post.

Revlon Bold Lacquer Length & Volume Mascara Review

Hello Beauties,

How are you all today? I hope everyone is enjoying and having a great start to the month. So while picking up some new things at Rite Aid I came across a display of new Revlon mascaras and of course I had to pick it up. I have been using it for about two weeks now, and its time for the review.

Revlon released this mascara in the Grow Luscious line during their Spring 2014 launch. To be honest the packaging really pulled me in, and I knew I needed to have this. I have not tried many Revlon mascaras but the couple I have tried, I like them. The shade I picked up is Blackest Black, and usually that's the only shade I pick up in mascaras.
I was really excited to use this mascara and at first application I did not like it at all. It is very light textured and does not lengthen or volumize your lashes at all. This mascara dries quickly, but it is too dry. I like mascaras that stay a little wet for a while so I can build it up, but this one just does not like to stay wet. It is a very dry formula and it gives my lashes the "spidery" look which I don't like.

The wand is your standard mascara wand, there is nothing special about it. The brush does a good job separating your lashes, but if you are one of those people who like to layer a lot of mascara on you wont like this at all. I have tried to use it many different way and only apply like two coats and I am still not impressed with it.

Over all I am not impressed with this mascara, it promises so much but does not deliver at all. If you have picked up this mascara let me know in the comments below how you like it. Thank yo so much for reading, I hope all of you have an awesome day.

CoverGirl Colorlicious Lipgloss in Fruitylicious review & swatches

Hello Beauties,

How are you all today? I hope everyone is having a great day and enjoying. It has been raining a lot this week and there is flooding everywhere. So hopefully we can get over this rain and the sun comes back. So browsing through Wallgreens the other day I came across a new display from Covergirl. If you follow me on INSTAGRAM you can see the image I posted of the display. I knew I had to pick some of them up and the shades are gorgeous in this collection.

First of all lets talk about the packaging, it is a standard lipgloss tube with CoverGirl displayed on the front. The applicator is a regular doe-foot but its really soft. I feel like this applicator is great for the corners of your lips because it really helps with the application.

One of the shades I got is Fruitylicious which is a bright pink with blue undertones. It also has a little bit of shimmer, but I feel like the shimmer does not transfer on the lips very well. The formula is really smooth and one thing that I love is that it is not sticky at all. The gloss applies really smoothly on your lips and you can build it up as many times as you want. I did two applications and it came out very opaque and bright.

This gloss is very shiny and I love how the light reflects the shine. The staying power is amazing on this gloss, with eating and drinking my coffee it stayed on for 5 hours. Five hours for a gloss? I think that is amazing! In those five hours I didn't feel like I had a gloss on and I got so many compliments.

One bad thing about this gloss it that it is not good for dry or chapped lips. You have to moisturize your lips before applying this gloss, otherwise it will settle into your dry spots on your lips. Although Covergirl claims that this gloss is moisturizing but I don't think so, or maybe my lips are so dry and I NEED to put chapstick on before use.

Over all I am really impressed with this gloss. The formula is very glossy and shiny, which should be in every lipgloss. It is long lasting and I love shade collection. I will be reviewing more shades coming up. But if you are debating to pick this gloss up or not I think you should! Especially if you love a gloss that is long lasting.

Let me know in the comments below if you have tried these yet. Thank you so much for reading, have a great day.
