NYX Lip Liner In Mahogany Review & Swatches

 

These days I have been really obssesed with lip liners. I love lining my lips before applying lipstick and also mixing in lip liners with lipsticks to create a darker or lighter shade.  First of all lets start with how affordable nyx lip liner are. I found mine at Ulta and there are so many shades to choose from. I usually buy them when they are on sale or Ulta is having a promotion. Over the last couple of months I have collected a bunch of nyx lip liners which means there were will be a lot of reviews coming soon. 

Mahogany is a beautiful deep plum brown shade which of course is perfect for Fall time. The liner it self comes in a pencil form which you do have to sharpen. The formula of this lip liner pencil is amazing, it is smooth and glides on easily on the lips. There is no tugging or pulling involved on the lips. One thing I did notice about this liner is that it does cling on to my dry patches which looks really bad. Nyx claims that these pencils have coconut oil in them which I can say is true. They are very creamy and last a long time on the lips. Also some of you might have heard that Nyx has so many dupes with Mac. For example this shade is a dupe for MAC Cork, so why spend all that money on expensive lip pencils when you are getting a super affordable one? NYX Micro Brow Pencil Review

Looking for a dupe for the Anastasia Brow Wiz? You have come to the right place! Yes finally a drugstore eyebrow pencil that compares to the brow wiz. Couple of months ago I was roaming through Ulta and found this eyebrow pencil in the NYX section it intrigued me and of course I had to pick it up.

First of all lets start with the packaging, the eyebrow pencil comes in sleek black packaging. One side has the pencil and the other side has a spoolie brush to comb your eyebrows in place with.I actually like the brush on this nyx pencil, it easily combs your brow hair and evenly distributes the product. The strokes on this pencil are very light, you really have to press in to get some color. On my brows I like a natural look so this pencil really helps me out. The formula is great and it blends out very easily. Over all I am really impressed with this product and I always keep three back ups of it. Colourpop X CoffeeBreakWithDani Metamorphisis Quad Review & Swatches

Colourpop Cosmetics has amazing quads and amazing eyeshadows but when they collaborate with a Youtuber it is much more amazing. This is a quad that is made by Coffeebreakwithdani on YouTube and she has done a great job creating this quad. The shades are beautiful and they are very long lasting. One of my favorite things about this quad is that you can layer these shadows over any other shadows. For example you can take a black cream shadow apply that first and than you can apply a colourpop shadow and it turns out beautiful. I haven't experimented with a lot of different base shades yet but I get excited every time I use this quad. 

Kindness: is a sheer opal shade that is just beautiful. When you look closely it has blue, silver, green sparkles. It gives any dull look a pop of shimmer and color. I love using this all over my lid over a Maybelline color tattoo. 

Hope: is also a sheer opal finish but this shade has beautiful pink and purple shimmers in it. Also this shade lasts a long time on the lids and the shimmer does not budge.

Bravery: has a matte finish and is a warm chocolate brown shade. This shade is great to build on your outer crease and brush under your lash line. 

Strenght: has a satin finish and is a muted brown shade kind of nude with very light shimmer.

Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara Review

Looking for a mascara that you will love and not regret buying at all? You have come to the right post and found the most amazing mascara every. Usually Maybelline mascaras are my favorite from the drugstore and you all know that I love the rocket mascara from them. When they came out with this new mascara a couple of months ago I was actually skeptical to buy it. But a lot of you on Instagram actually said to buy this mascara and you guys were right this mascara is worth every penny. 

First of all the packaging is really cute and I love the light pink with black writing. I love makeup with cute packaging because I know I am going home with it when I see it at the drugstore. Lets talk about the brush of this mascara it has very interesting bristles to it. One side of the mascara has small bristles and the other side has long bristles. Also the brush has a little curve to it which makes is easier to apply the mascara. The formula of this mascara is the part I am in love with. It is not to dry and not to wet which is great for light lashes. The mascara dries very quickly so you really don't have enough time for a second coat but one thing is that it does not get clumpy. The formula makes my lashes very long and not clumpy at all. Over all I am really impressed with this mascara. I am almost done with my first tube and will be buying second one soon.
