Colourpop Blue Moon Palette Review & Swaches

As you all can tell that Colourpop comes out with many palettes each and every week. They have been doing a whole bunch of different color themed palette. When they came out with the blue palette I knew I had to have it. I dont have a bunch of blue eyeshadows in my collection so I thought this would be the perfect palette for me. So as usual I went on the Colourpop website to order this palette plus ten other items. This brand is super addicting but they have affordable and amazing products.

This palette comes with a mirror and nine shadows, four metallic and five of them are matte. These shadows blend super easily and are great applied with brush or finger. One thing that I have noticed with these shadows is that they can be used for a one shadow look. You can throw on one shadow for example Tide Pool are over your lid and blend out with a brush and it looks beautiful. The metallic shadows are not super metallic but they are the perfect amount. I have used the shadows with a primer and without and they work amazing both ways. The shades are super pigmented they go on with a "BAM". I love using the blues for under the eye shadow as well. Just to give my neutral look a pop of color, it looks beautiful.

Over all I am really loving this palette. With the matte blues being so pigmented and the shimmers being so easy to use this palette is a must have. Let me know in the comments below your thoughts on this palette. Also I will be having more Colourpop palette reviews coming soon. Have a great day and thank you for reading.

Colourpop Orange You Glad? Eyeshadow Palette Review & Swatches

As you can tell by my previous posts I am in love with Colourpop nine pan eye shadow palettes. They have been coming out all the rainbow colors and I am enjoying them a lot. Recently they came out with a eye shadow palette named Orange You Glad which is the orange palette. I had to pick it up because it has some beautiful orange shades that I love.

This monochromatic eye shadow palette includes 9 shades which have mattes, shimmers and glitters. I love the mixture of shades in this palette. The six matte shades in this palette are so creamy and buttery. They go on smoothly and blend out easily with a fluffy brush. One thing I did notice about this palette is that some of the shades are not safe to use on the eyes. Clementine which is a glitter shade with copper undertones is not safe to use on the eyes, as well as Rise N Grind, Sunkiss’d, and Mimosa Mami which are mattes. Always check the packaging of the palette before using it on your eyes, especially if you have sensitive skin.

For me these shadows worked well on my eyes, I did not have any stains or a allergic reaction. With this palette you can create many different looks, especially for the summer time. I love doing a one shadow look or a two shadow look and it turns out amazing. These shadows are packed with pigment and are super belandable. If you love neutrals like me and want some color in your makeup collection this palette is perfect for that. Let me know in the comments below your thoughts on this palette. Thank you so much for reading.

Colourpop Sweet Talk Palette Review & Swatches

As you all know I am a big fan of Colourpop, especially Colourpop eyeshadow palettes. They come out with a new release every week and yes new products EVERY SINGLE WEEK. Sometimes it is really hard to keep up but I sure do keep up with their eyeshadow palette collections. When the Sweet Talk palette came out I  knew I had to have this in my collection. First of all the packaging of this palette is so adorable. On the back you have the shade names surrounded by a holographic ring. I love the collage design and the flowers. It is perfect for spring and summer time.

When you open up the palette you get 12 shadows. This palette comes with 4 different types of formula which includes pressed powder metallic, pressed powder matte, pressed powder glitter and a super shock shadow. This is the first palette that Colourpop has included a super shock shadow in their eyeshadow palette. The super shock shadow formula is designed for the palette so it doesnt dry out. I love super shock shadows so I was so excited to try out this one.

The mattes in this palette are just stunning. The are so buttery and blend out like a dream. I just have to tap my blending brush and they are super pigmented. Catch Me, Dream Maker and West Side are some of my favorite mattes from this palette. The super shock shadow is so beautiful, it is a warm silver and pink shade. I use the shadow with my fingers and it applies so great, blends out amazing as well. There is little to no fall out on these shadows, which I love. The price of this palette is amazing so is the quality. Let me know in the comments below your thoughts about this palette. Thank you so much for reading and have a great day.

Urban Decay Naked Cherry Eyeshadow Palette Review & Swatches

I hope you are having a great day. Thank you for coming back and reading my blog. Urban Decay has been one of my favorite eye shadow brands recently. They come out with great products all the time, but my favorite is the eye shadow palettes.

I have most of the palettes in my collection, I enjoy them a lot but I don't wear them much. I really need to get to using them more often. Today I will be reviewing Naked Cherry for you all. This palette came out last year and the shades in it are stunning. When it first came out I was not that intrigued but when I saw swatches of it online I fell in love with it.

This palette comes in the regular UD packaging which is a hard case, also this palette comes with a dual ended brush. I love the packaging a lot because the shadows are kept safe while traveling. The rosy tones in this palette are great for everyday shades and you can also smoke it up. The shadows go on smoothly on the lids and do not crease. As you can see in the swatches they are very smooth and dont crumble or skip. I love wearing this palette on a day out, because it looks natural and pretty at the same time.

The shadows are not hard to blend at all and work great with each other. My favorite shade has to be Turn On it is such a pretty rose metallic shade. Over all I love this palette a lot and I am so happy to pick it up. Let me know your thoughts below on this palette. Thank you so much for reading and have a great day.

Stay Healthy This Summer: Tips to stay cool & keep skin and body healthy

Hello,

Happy Summer everyone! Summer is a great month where you get to go out and have a lot of fun. The schools are out and everyone is spending their days during BBQ or going to the lake or beach. While we are having fun we forget that we need to take care of our selves during that time. The heat really takes a toll on our bodies and especially our skin. Here are 5 tips to keep your skin and body healthy during summer.

1. Wear sunscreen: This tip is for everyone weather you are out or inside. I highly recommend to wear sunscreen. The sunscreen helps keep your skin safe from harsh sun rays. Also use sunscreen on your lips and ears. Most of the time we forget those sensitive body parts. I love sunscreens that are SPF 50 and above. I love moisturizers that have sunscreen in them.

2. Stay Inside:  I know some of you might not want to do this, but during the high heat times from 10am-3pm try to stay inside as much as you can. During that time try to do some great activities inside the house.

3. Drink Plenty: Stay hydrated! The heat can really take a toll on your body, drink tons of water. Your body loves water so give it as much as you can. If you are not a big fan of water try to add some flavor in there. Your body will thank you for it.

These are just some tips that I do each summer to keep myself healthy. If you have any other concerns please get advise from your doctor. What are your tips? Comment below. Thank you so much for reading and have a great day.

Loreal Infallible Foundation Review

This year is my year to find my perfect foundation. Or a foundation routine that I love. I dont own a lot of foundations so this year I am so excited to start my journey to my perfect foundation routine. Beginning of the year I grabbed a couple drugstore and high end foundations to use. Today I am sharing with you a foundation that I am completely loving. This foundation comes in a range of 30 shades which is amazing. It was really easy for me to find my shade because of the variety.

I love the packaging of this foundation as well, it comes in a glass container and comes with a pump. This foundation also includes SPF 25, which I think is great. When I first put this foundation on my skin I was in love at once. This foundation goes on very smoothly on the skin, I applied with a brush. This gives a light to medium finish, I used 2 pumps for my whole face. I was really satisfied with the coverage, it was perfect for my skin. In the summer time I am more of a medium finish girl. This foundation blends out and sticks to my skin. Its almost like my skin but better. I have not tried this foundation with a beauty blender but I bet the finish will be amazing.

The foundation really lasted me all day, which is amazing. It dries down a little matte but its sheer. I love that during the summer time. I did not set this foundation with a powder just a finishing spray and it looked beautiful at the end of the day. There were no missing spots or any creasing. It looked like as if I have just applied the foundation. It blends with the skin very nicely and looks fresh.

Over all I am really happy with this foundation. I have worn it for a couple of months now and I can say that it is really working for me. Let me know in the comments below your thoughts on this foundation and if you have tried it. Thank you so much for reading and have a great day.

Colourpop It's My Pleasure Palette Review & Swatches

Hello,

It's My Pleasure palette has been posted so much on Instagram that I had to buy it my self. When first this palette originally launched I wasn't so sure if I wanted it. But the more swatches I saw and the looks that were created I knew I had to have it. So I went to the website and ordered my self this palette ( among others) and I am so happy I did.

I have never been into purples but I wanted to step out of my comfort zone and try out this palette. This palette has a range of purple shade, which includes mattes and metallic. The matte shades blend so easily and are very smooth, the metallic shades are so vibrant. I love using the metallic shades with my fingers, it gives more impact and they look so good. The shades last all day long and there is barely any fall out.
My favorite shades from this palette are Pretty Cruel which has gold flecks in it and is matte also Earthshine which is a duo chrome blue pink shade. I was not into purples before but after using this palette I am in love with purple shadows. What are your favorite shadows? Comment below to share. Thank you so much for reading and have a great day.

Colourpop Sol Palette Review & Swatches

Hello,

How is everyone? I hope all of you are having a great summer so far. I haven't posted in a while, I just had so much on my hands. Back now so expect some great content from me. Todays post is a beautiful palette that I have been enjoying so much this summer. The Sol palette by Colourpop is a warm coral 9-pan shadow palette. The shades range from orange, copper and pinks. This shadow palette is perfect for someone who enjoys warm toned shadows. I am one of those so this has become my everyday shadow palette.

The shades are very vibrant and pigmented. This palette includes a mirror which I love and its compact enough to fit in your luggage or bag on the go. The matte shades are so smooth and blend easily on your lid. I have applied them with primer and without, of course with the primer they last long but without it they are great as well. The glitters are not chunky or patchy at all. They go on great and have very less fall out.

Over all I am super impressed with this 9-pan palette by Colourpop. The price point and packaging is great as well. You can easily get this palette on the website. Let me know your thoughts on this palette. Thank you so much for reading and have a great day.

Urban Decay Naked Reloaded Palette Review & Swatches

Hello Lovelies,

I hope all of you are doing great. Thank you for coming to my blog and reading. Today is the day that I'll be sharing my thoughts with you on the new Urban Decay Naked Reloaded Palette. When the news came for this palette I was not that interested. I have so many Urban Decay palettes that I enjoy a lot. When I saw the swatches on UD's instagram I thought it is so pretty I have to have it. I waited till this palette was available at Sephora and picked it up the day it launched there. This palette is a"remake" for the original naked palette. I never purchased that palette but I have used my moms many times and I love it.

First of all lets talk about the packaging, it comes in a cloth-like case. This palette is very skinny and super light. When I picked it up I could barely tell if there was anything in the box. It is not like the other UD palettes that come in a hard case. This palette includes 12 shades that are mattes, metallics and iridescent shimmer. This palette includes all the shades you will need to create a every day neutral look. I have been using this palette with and without primer. Mostly my looks have come out great with primer.

As you can see UD kept the first 2 and the last 2 shade pans bigger than the rest. These shades are larger because these are the shades that everyone uses the most. I actually like that concept because it is true, I always hit pan on my regular shades faster. This palette does not come with a brush, which I am okay with. I have so many brushes that I can use with this palette.

One of my favorite shades from this palette is Barely Baked it is a metallic medium gold shade. I love this shade all over the lid with the shade Reputation. I have played with this palette a lot and created some good looks. Over all I would say if you are a makeup lover like me and already own a lot of neutral shades and everyday shades this palette is not for you. But if you are a collector this is a must buy. This palette is not limited edition and is available every where UD is sold. Let me know your thoughts on this palette in the comments below. Thank you so much for reading and have a great day.

xoxo,

Revlon Photoready Candid Foundation Review

Hello Lovelies,

I hope you all are having a great day. I have been doing a lot of eye shadow palette reviews, today I am bringing a different type of post for you. First of all, let me begin with telling you that this year I am on a hunt for my perfect foundation (if there is such a thing) and concealer. I have been trying many different foundations the past two months some I love and some I don't. I am totally new to this foundation world so every foundation is new for me even though it has been on the market for a while.

When I picked up this foundation the first thing I noticed is that this is a natural finish foundation. I am not a person who wants or wears a heavy full coverage foundation. So this was perfect for me, I picked up the foundation and concealer. I have a concealer review coming later. This foundation comes in 31 different shades, which is great because it was super easy to pick out my shade. This foundation does not include parabens, oils, phthalates, synthetic dyes, and fragrances. I am so glad it is free of these things because they are not great for the skin.

When I first wore this foundation I was amazed at how it made my skin look, it gave my skin such a natural look. I used it without a primer and actually, I really did not need a primer. It made my skin feel moisturized throughout the day. It did not feel sticky and it did not move or crease at all. This foundation did not have full coverage but it sure is buildable. I only apply one layer with my foundation brush and it gives a very natural look.

The packaging of this foundation is super cute, it comes with a pump and the pump dispenses a perfect amount you need. This lightweight foundation is perfect for everyday use. I am super impressed with it and I have been wearing it non-stop. I have gotten so many compliments on my skin because it looks so natural. I love setting it with a spray. You can buy this product at any major drugstore for a great affordable price.

Let me know in the comments below your thoughts on this foundation. Also, let me know what is your favorite foundation in the comments below. I would love to try out your recommendations. Thank you for reading and have a great day.

xoxo,

Anastasia Beverly Hills Riviera Palette Review & Swatches

Hello Lovelies,

How are you all? Thank you for coming back to my blog and reading. There are so many new makeup products coming out recently that I can't keep up with them. When ABH posted pictures of this new palette that is for the Spring 2019 collection I was in love with it. I knew I had to have this palette even though it looked very colorful. I waited and got this palette from Ulta store, I did not even need to swatch this over there because I knew I will love it.

First of all, the packaging of this palette is super cute. This palette makes me want to get on a yacht and just enjoy. The white, blue and rose gold packaging is everything. When you open the palette you get fourteen shades that are matte and metallic. The first row includes 1 matte and the rest shimmer. The bottom row is all mattes. I love the layout of this palette because it just inspires you to create so many looks.

I am not going to be describing each shade because all of you might have seen it so many times. The formula of the metallic shades is super nice. They go on so nice on the lids, with or without fingers. You don't need a sticky base for these, I tried them without primer and they work amazing. There is a little bit of chunk with the metallics but nothing that great. Seychelles is a beautiful aqua-marine metallic shade that goes on so smooth. I love the bright pops of pink in the palette. I was so impressed Bahamas, it is a great shade for your crease (the way I used it) for a colorful look.

All of the shadows in this palette blend easily and are greatly pigmented. Not one shadow is disappointing. I own a lot of ABH palettes and love them equally. But this palette has a special place in my heart because I have been wearing it a lot and absolutely loving it.

Let me know in the comments below your thoughts on this palette? Are you buying it or skipping it? Thank you so much for reading, I hope all of you have a wonderful day.

xoxo,

Colour Pop Yes, Please! Palette Review & Swatches

Hello Lovelies,

I hope all of you are having a great day and enjoying this year so far. As I told you before last year was a year of eyeshadow palettes for me. The most palettes I purchased were from Colourpop. I have almost all of their palettes and I absolutely love them.

Today I will be sharing the beautiful Yes, Please palette with you. This is one of the first palettes that I picked up from Ulta when Colourpop released their products there. This palette contains 12 pressed powders which includes mattes and shimmers. I love the packaging of this palette, although it does not come with a mirror I think it is super travel friendly.

I absolutely love all the shades in this palette. If I were to create a palette this would be it. I love the golden, yellow and bronze shades. The mattes are super blendable and pigmented. The shimmers also work great. While using this palette I have noticed barely any fall out or crumbling of the shades. If I did not have so many eyeshadows to choose from I would wear this palette everyday.

Over all like many others I am in love with this palette. If you like this palette, don't hesitate. Let me know in the comments below your thoughts on this palette. Thank you for reading.

xoxo,
