Review: Maybelline Last Sesational Curvitude Mascara

Hello lovelies. Here we are again with a review of a brand new Maybelline product. This summer Maybelline has released some great products and in that range they have released two new mascaras. As you all know I love the original Last sensational mascara, it is my go to and I have gotten trough so many tubes of it. When I saw that they have come out with a different version I had to pick it up and try it out also review for you guys.

Curvitude is a great everyday mascara. It applies evenly on your lashes and gives them a nice coat. It does lengthen the lashes but not like falsies. It did give my lash a little bit of a curve and the curve stayed in place through out the day. I would say that this mascara is very light on the lashes and separates the lashes which is very important for me. It is not clumpy at all, I got the shade blackest black and it sure is black. I love the color of the packaging, also the wand is curvy so it really gets into the lashes. Over all I am very impressed with this new mascara. Will I replace is with my original last sensational mascara probably not, but I will wear this for days where I need curve in my lashes.

Let me know in the comments below your thoughts on this product. Thank you for reading and have a great day.

Review: Maybelline Vivid Hot Lacquer in Unreal Review & Swatches

Hello lovelies. Who remembers the Maybelline Vivid Matte Liquid Lipsticks that they came out with last year? I sure do and I absolutely love them to this day. This year for Summer 2017 Maybelline has come out with new Vivid Lacquers. This collection has shades ranging from light to dark, to first try out I picked up a light shade. The lacquer co

mes housed in a long glass tube and has a nice doe foot soft applicator. These range from $6.99-$9.99 depending on where you are buying them from.Check your local drugstore for more shades and pick one up for your self.

Unreal is a very warm soft brown shade, it has a very medium brown in it. The formula of this shade is very smooth and creamy. It glided on my lips and set very easily, after it was set it felt smooth on my lips. Although this shade was a little sticky at first, the stickiness went away after a while. I felt like I had nothing on my lips the entire time I was wearing this shade which was for about 4 1/2 hours. Another thing that I noticed with this formula was that it was very hydrating on my lips, it felt like almost a gel-like texture which I don't mind at all. Over all I am super impressed with this shade and the formula of this product.

Let me know in the comments below your thoughts on this lip lacquer. Thank you for reading and have a wonderful day.

Review: Wet N Wild Perfect Pout Gel Lipliner Review & Swatches

Hello lovelies. A lot of drugstore makeup brands have been coming out with new makeup this summer. Wet N Wild is one of them, although they came out with new makeup a couple of months ago. I was looking at the Wet N Wild display and came across some gel lip liners. I don't remember seeing gel lip liners at the drugstore. So this really interest me and I had to pick some up.

The formula of this gel lip liner is great, it glides on smoothly on the lips and is very soft. I have not applied this liner with a lipstick yet, but I have applied it all over my lips by itself and its amazing. The texture is very gel like you can feel that on your lips, not in a bad way though. This lip liner stayed on my lips for a good four hours. It did not settle on my lips or fade away also it felt like I was not wearing anything. It is super pigmented and opaque itself, now I wonder how it will look like with a lipstick. Over all I am very impressed with this affordable new lip liner collection from Wet N Wild. There are many different shades. Let me know in the comments below your thoughts on this product.

Thank you for reading and have a great day.

Review: Maybelline The City Mini Palette in Downtown Sunrise Review & Swatche

Hello lovelies. If you have been to the drugstore lately and been in the makeup aisle you have probably come across tons of new makeup from Maybelline. They have a whole range of new eyeshadow palettes out too. As you know me Maybelline is one of my favorite brands in the drugstore, so I had to pick u some. I picked up two City Mini palettes, I will be reviewing the other in its own post. There are 7 different mini palettes in this collection so you have a whole range to pick up. The price is $7.99 - $9.99 depending on where you are getting them from. They are available every where now and also online at Ulta.

Downtown Sunrise is a a very warm toned palette that has frosts and satin's in it. No matte shades in this palette, you will be needing to use a matte shadow. Or you can just create a shimmery look. The texture of these shadows is soft and glides on easily. They have tons of pigments and also blend easily. The frost shades have a little bit of fall out, but nothing that you can't wipe off easily. I love the warm toned gold in this palette, that shade is perfect for the lid color. I wore this palette without a primer and tested it out for the whole day. The shadows did stay on, no budging and no creasing. If you want to use a primer you can always apply a Maybelline color tattoo underneath. Over all I am super impressed with this eyeshadow mini palette. It is great for everyone and the price is great too. Also very easy to store or travel with.

Let me know in the comments below your thoughts on this product and also if you have tried it or will be picking it up. Thank you for reading and have a great day.

Review: Maybelline Lipstick Mauve It Loaded Bolds Collection

Maybelline lipsticks are one of my favorites from the drugstore. They are so affordable, creamy and great quality. I have a whole collection of Maybelline lipsticks. I don't know when I'll be able to wear them all but I just love having them. Maybelline has different mini lipstick collections, you can find them at any drugstore. This lipstick is from the Loaded Bolds collection. Mauve It is a very muted mauve purplish shade. I don't think it is bold at all, but for some skin tones it might be on the bolder side. This shade is very creamy and not drying at all. It glides on smoothly on the lips and is opaque, there is no need of lip liner with this shade. This shade lasted about 3 hours on my lips which may not seem like a long time. Some of the lipstick does end up at the corners of my lips which doesn't look that nice. But you can always reapply or smooth out the lipstick by pressing your lips. Over all I love the formula and the shade.

I hope you all enjoyed this review. Let me know in the comments below your thoughts. Thank you for reading.

Review: Tarteist Lip Paint in Fly Review & Swatches

As you all know I love liquid lipsticks. They are such a great worry free product. When I came across the Tarte Cosmetics lip paint line I knew I had to get one shade. I swatched the shades at Sephora and fell in love with the shade Fly. This range has 22 shades and they are all beautiful. The lip paint comes housed in a glass container and the shade is very true to the box. Fly is a very berry shade and it is a cool tone shade. I love this color for the summer time when you really want a bright look.

This lip paint formula is something that I want in every liquid lipstick. It is a liquid-to-matte formula which is dries down quickly and is transfer proof. Yes you read that right it is transfer proof. I love to wear this shade and I am able to kiss my son who is 15 months old without being afraid that his whole face will be berry shade. This liquid lipsticks lasts 5-6 hours on my lips, it doesn't even loose its color during that time. I love wearing this shade on days where I am out for the entire time. Its a worry free liquid lipstick, like I wrote above. It retails for $20 and you can basically find it anywhere Tarte products are sold. If you are looking for a liquid lipstick that won't budge this is it for you.

Thank you for reading and let me know in the comments below your thoughts on this liquid lipstick.

Review: Jaclyn Hill X Morphe Palette Review & Swatches

If you know me from my past 5 or so years of blogging I love eyeshadow. Every time there is a new eyeshadow palette in the market I have to grab it. I love neutral eyeshadows and some fun colors. So when I heard that Jaclyn Hill was coming out with a palette with Morphe I knew I had to grab it. So came the day when this palette was released. I was on my phone trying to check out for 30 minutes. But finally I got checked out and this palette arrived at my house within a week. Just a little background I love Morphe eyeshadows. I have a couple of their palettes (which I will be reviewing soon). So I was not hesitant to buy this palette.

First of all lets get into the packaging of this palette. It comes in a white light card box case and inside is the palette. Which is also white and very prone to shadows sticking to it. Inside the palette there are 35 eyeshadows. I have to say that the variety in this palette is great. There are mattes, satin's, shimmer shadows. I love how this palette is great for daytime and night time looks.

Here are the names of the shadows:
Enlight, Beam , Silk Creme, M.F.E.O, Faint, Sissy, Little Lady, Creamsicle, Butter, Pooter , Puky , Hunts, Firework, Queen, Obsessed, SBN, Hillster, Roxanne, Jacz, Buns, Cranapple, Royalty, Twerk, Hustle, Meeks, 24/7, Chip, Mocha, Pool Party, Jada, Diva, Enchanted, Central Park, Soda Pop and Abyss.

As you can tell from the swatches above the eye shadow pigment is great for some shades and for some shades it is not there at all. I love all the matte and shimmer shades in this palette. The matte shades are so smooth and blend very easily. The shimmers are very pigmented and go on like butter. The one thing I have noticed with these eyeshadows is that it is better to use your finger when applying than a brush. With your finger it gives more pigmentation and goes on smoothly. I would also recommend using a primer under these shadows. These lasted great on my lids and did not crease or budge.

Over all I would recommend this palette for someone who is looking for a day/night palette all in one. I love this palette I can see this becoming something I would use very often. Let me know in the comments below your thoughts on this palette.

PS: This palette is sold out right now but it will come back instock. So be sure to check Jaclyn Hill's Instagram page.

Thank you all for reading and have a great day.
