Milani Eye and Brow Highlight in Matte Cream / Luminous Lift review & swatches

Hello Beauties,

How are you all today? I hope everyone is having a great day and enjoying this great weather. Finally the snow is melting, but I am not liking this rain. Well hopefully spring gets here fast, I miss the green grass! Milani has come out with great products in the past month, today I will be reviewing for you one of the eye products.

I am not a big fan of under the eyebrow highlight, I usually use a light shade to highlight. But when I heard that Milani is coming out with a brow and eye highlighter pencil I was all over it. I found this a week ago, I think, at CVS. I picked up the Matte Cream/ Luminous Lift shade.

This is a dual ended pencil, one side is for eyebrows and one side is for eye highlight. I love this idea, two in one products are my favorite. At first I was really worried about the shade, since they only have three options. But I am glad I picked this one up, because I am in love with it.

The eyebrow highlight shade is a peachy cream shade. It is just amazing for highlighting under the eyebrow. The formula is easily blendable, and it goes on smoothly.

Luminous Life is a light shimmery pink shade. I used this to highlight in the corners of my eyes and also on my water line. I love the affect this shade gives to your eyes. The eyes look wide and awake. Also the formula is easily blendable and creamy.

Over all I am in love with this pencil, you can use it in so many different ways. Both ends of the pencil are great and creamy, also go on smoothly. I think Milani did a really great job with these, I use this pencil everyday now for a browbone highlight.

Let me know in the comments below what is your favorite highlight for browbone and what do you think of this pencil?

I hope all of you have a great day and always keep smiling. Talk to you very soon!

Revlon Highlighting Palette in Rose Glow (020) Review & Swatches

Hello Beauties,

How are you all today? I hope you guys are having a great day and enjoying this brutal winter. Once again, I am snowed in. Which is a great thing, because I can get so many things done. Today I have a very exciting post for you. You all know there are a lot of new drugstore items coming out, so today I will share with you something fairly new.

This highlighting palette comes in the Cheek Boutique line from Revlon, this year. First of all I am not a fan of highlighter, I actually didn't even own any highlighters until I picked up this one. I was really curious at first, to what this new thing is, but once I got using it I really loved it.

Rose Glow is a pretty rose shade with shimmery pink undertones. Rose glow gives you a beautiful glow, more like a natural rosy glow.

This comes with five strips of color, that when you are applying you blend with your blush. The staying power is great, it lasted me 7-8 hours with foundation and 4-5 hours just alone on my skin. The formula is great, it goes on smooth and you can always build it up. Although it is powdery, but not too much to make a mess all over.
Over all I am really impressed with this Highlighting palette. It has great pigmentation, and also gives you a natural glow (which I am always looking for). Let me know in the comments below if you have tried any of the products from Cheek Boutique from Revlon.

As always thank you for reading and I hope all of you are having a great and awesome day. Talk to you guys soon!

Maybelline Dare To Go Nude Spring 2014: Color Tattoos in Sleek & Spice and Caramel Cool review & swatches

Hello Beauties,

How are you all today? I hope everyone is having a great day and enjoying! As you all know Maybelline has come out with their nude collection for spring 2014. I was so happy when I found them in my local store. So today I will be reviewing the two new color tattoos for you.

All the products in this collection say "limited edition" on them, but I have noticed that the color tattoos don't say LE on them. Hopefully they are permanent because they are amazing. There were a total of six shades, but I only picked up two of them. The others looked the same to me, so I was not really interested. But I can tell you that I am going back for the black shade that I missed.

Since Maybelline launched the color tattoos I have been crazy over them. The texture is so smooth and they apply so easily. You can use them for so many looks and use them a lot of different ways. I usually use mine alone all over my lid, but you can also use them as a base for your eyeshadow. The pigmentation is also amazing in these color tattoos, also the shimmer shows up great too.

I apply mine with my finger, but you can apply them with a flat shadow brush. So lets get into the two shades I picked up.

- Sleek & Spice is a metallic taupe shade. I love them shimmer in this, and this shade is perfect for all over the lid shade. Although when you blend it out a little bit too much, it does get sheer but I make sure that I am applying a good amount.

-Caramel Cool is a deep golden shimmery shade. You can use this shade as a eyeshadow primer to bring out the colors.

Over all I am really impressed with these shades. After writing this review I am definitely going back to pick up some more shades. The color tattoos are easy to travel with, and are great to have for every day use.

Let me know in the comments below which is your favorite shade? And have you ever tried any of the color tattoos?

I hope all of you have a great day and I will be talking to you guys soon!

Faced Skincare Fruit Enzyme Moisturizing Serum* Review

Hello Beauties,

How are you all today? I hope everyone is having a great day. I am snowed in AGAIN and now have so much time to write great posts for you guys. A couple of months ago, Faced Skincare contacted me to see if I would love to try one of their products. I said yes and within a couple of days they sent me their product.

First of all, I am really impressed with how they used great ingredients in this serum. It includes my favorite ingredient "aloe vera" I love aloe vera for everything. Especially for great and clear skin! This serum is packed with great ingredients which help your skin stay healthy and clear. Use it twice a day to get rid of dead skin cells and blemishes.

I have used this products over the course of two months, and I have seen a great difference in my skin. I feel like my skin looks fresher, and has a natural glow. I have used this product once daily, in the morning, before moisturizing my face.

Another thing that I really like about this serum is that it is not heavy at all. It goes on smoothly on your skin and you can blend all over your face and only need to use two pumps. Also it is not greasy at all, great for people with oily or dry skin. Also it smells great, just like papaya and pineapple, thank god I haven't tasted it yet!

Here is a ingredient list provided by FACED:
Aloe Vera Gel, Aqueous Extract of Calendula and Thyme Leaves and Sage Leaves, Glycerin, Papaya Extract, Pineapple Extract, Bromelain, Papain, Hydroxyethyl Cellulose, d-Panthenol, Retinyl Palmitate, Carbomer, Triethanolamine, Polyacrylic Acid, Guar Gum, Natural Fragrant Oil, Sodium PCA(natural humectant), Phenoxyethanol, Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Benzoate.

Over all I really like this serum! I will be using it till its last drop.

Favorite "PINK" Lip Products: Valentine's Day Edition

Hello Beauties,

How are you all today? I hope all of you are having a beautiful Valentine's Day and enjoying! Either your single or in a relationship today is all about love! So I decided to share with you my favorite and most loved pink lip products. I am becoming a lip junkie day by day. I use to hate wearing lipstick and lipgloss but all that changed when I started blogging.

1. Revlon Lipgloss in Pinkissimo is a great light pink shade. It has great shimmer in it, and looks great over lipstick or alone.

2. Revlon Lip Butter in Sweet Tart is a bright pink shade. I love how it goes on smoothly and is great for dry lips.

3. Milani Lipstick in Hot Pink Rage is a BRIGHT pink rosy shade. I love Milani lipsticks they are smooth and last forever.

4. Revlon Lipstick in Kissable Pink. It is a sheer netural pink, this lipstick has a lot of shine and dries as a glossy finish.

I really love pinks, they just make any look, look complete. I hope all of you have a wonderful day and enjoy! Happy Valentine's Day to all of you!

Maybelline Dare To Go Nude Spring 2014: Eyeshadow Quad in Bare It Buff review & swatches

Hello Beauties,

How are you all today? I hope all of you are having a great day and hoping for warm weather to come soon! Right now I am snowed in, currently there is 7 inches of snow on the ground right now. So I thought to write a blog post for you all.

Last night I picked up four of the new LIMITED EDITION Maybelline Dare To Go Nude collection quads. Today I will be reviewing one of them for you and don't you worry I have the rest reviews coming soon!

You all know what the Standard Maybelline quads look like. They come with four eyeshadows, and the packaging is great. I love how Maybelline went "nude" for spring this year. Usually when I think spring I think bright and fun colors. But this year "nude" is a big thing!

As you can see this quad is really nude. Great for everyday use, and you can create great eye looks with this quad. The shades are shimmery, and really light.

Although I love the idea of "nude" this quad is not pigmented at ALL. The shadows are smooth and are really soft, but when you go and swatch it its really powdery and there is no pigmentation.

I have only swatches this one yet. More reviews will be coming soon! I also picked up the color tattoos so keep your eyes open for those too!

I hope all of you have a wonderful day and enjoy!

Maybelline Master Glaze Blush Stick in Just Pinched Pink review & swatches

Hello Beauties,

How are you all today? I hope all of you are having a great day and enjoying your selves. As you all know I am not a big blush fan, powder or cream. I have never been too interested in blushes, but when I heard about the new Maybelline cream stick blushes coming out, I knew I had to pick some up.

So now here I am starting my new blush love, with this beautiful cream blush from Maybelline. So I grabbed this little piece of heaven and went home to try it. First thoughts were it is really really pigmented, the color just shows up with one swipe.

Also it goes on your skin smoothly, you don't have to tug at your cheeks. The color pay off is great, and it gives your skin a instant glow.

I wore mine with foundation and it lasted me about five to six hours. Which is not bad for a cream blush, I have used some which lasted only a couple of hours.

Pinched Pink is a barbie pink shade with light shimmer. When you blend it out on your skin, the shimmer is barely noticeable.

Over all I am really impressed with the new cream blushes from Maybelline. I have my eyes on some other shades, which I will pick up soon. Everything about these are great. Let me know in the comments below if you have tried any of these new cream blushes.

As always thank you for reading as always. I hope all of you ave a great day and enjoy!

New Milani Lip Intense Liquid Color in Pink Rave 02 Review & Swatches

Hello Beauties,

How are you all today? I hope you all are having a great day and enjoying the cold Feb. Ahh Spring get here already! So last week I hopped in CVS to find the new Milani products, and just my link I found a bunch of great and new products. Today I will be sharing with you one of the new Liquid Colors.

Yes, Milani has been coming out with great lip products this year. I want to try out all of them, but I thought just to start with this one today. Promise more reviews will be coming on the other new lip products.

The Liquid Colors are the only lip products I didn't see swatches of before I picked them up. At first thought I was like wow this is really interesting. So I picked up one shade to try.

Pink Rave is a bright pink shade. I absolutely fell in love with this shade upon putting it on. It is so pretty and has a great shine to it.

The formula of the liquid color is great. It feels like lipstick when you apply it, but it is thin and smooth like a lip gloss. Isn't that great? A two in one lip product, that has great pigmentation and goes on your lips like a dream! I am in love.

This does dry to a velvety smooth matte finish. I actually am not a big fan of matte lip products, but this shade changed my mind. Just love everything about it. The lasting power is also great, with eating and drinking it lasted me five to six hours.

Over all I am really really impressed with this new lip product from Milani. Let me know in the comments below if you have tried any of the new ones out yet.

As always thank you so much for reading and until next time have a wonderful day.

Guest Blog Post: Milani Gold Label Specialty Nail Lacquer. By: goldglitterdiaries

Hello Beauties,

Today I would like to feature one of my favorite new blogs to read. Her name is Hannah and she is a new blogger! I love to read her blog for great product reviews, and today she is doing the same here on my blog. Read on!

Thank you so much Annie for asking me to do a guest blog post on your blog. I know that sounds so lame and typical but I am actually super flattered! I feel like I'm still trying to figure out what I am doing but so far I'm having a ton of fun. So here we go...

So as the impulsive shopper that I am a quick trip to Target turned into a shopping spree at Target and 2 stops at different Walgreens. Sadly I wasn’t looking for anything special, just something new.

Browsing the Milani section I saw all their new products already mixed in with their existing products, I was expecting them to be in a separate display. If I wasn’t such an observant shopper it would have taken me a long time to notice all the new products.

What really caught my attention were their new nail polishes, mainly because they had different packaging. Later I found out they were called Gold Label Specialty Nail Lacquer. The ones I picked up were just top coats. I am super excited to see more drugstore brands come out with special effects top coats. A year ago if you wanted a unique top coat you would most likely have so shell out nearly $15-20 just to find something that wasn’t gold or silver glitter. Now it’s affordable to pimp out your nails. Thanks to Milani.

(sugar burst, sugar high, sugar rush)

I picked all these up at my local Walgreens for $4.79 each. I am very in love with sugar rush because it is so unique, I swear I haven't seen anything like this. My favorite way to wear it was over a pastel color, it looks so much like candy. I know I sound like such a freak when I get so pumped up about $4 top coats but I feel like finding good top coats at the drugstore is like finding gold.

So since I'm an unoffical and unpaid spokesperson for Milani, I highly suggest you pick one up if you see them. Trust me, I'm a stranger. But for real, it is a super easy and inexpensive way to jazz up your mani.

Thanks again for having me! It was fun!

Revlon Photoready BB Cream Review & Swatches

Hello Beauties,

How are you all today? Yes you can see I have been posting a lot this month (one of my new years resolutions is to keep up with my blog). I have been posting a lot of lip product review, so today I thought to review something different, and I have figured out just the right product.

First of all let me start out by saying that I am not a fan of foundations or BB creams or anything powder that goes on the face. I have only one foundation and just one BB cream in my collection. I don't wear it often, and I can never find my shade. With that being said I introduce to you my FAVORITE (HOLY GRAIL) BB cream.
The Revlon BB Cream, plain and simple. I have been using this BB cream for a couple of months now and I have loved it so much. I picked it up when it first came out, ever since I have been loving it.

The application of the BB cream is great. The formula is not tick or not too liquidy, and applies evenly. I would say that it is some where between a primer and a foundation. The one thing I love about it is that it is not greasy at all. I hate when BB creams are greasy and are very shiny on your face.
The coverage I would say is somewhere between light to medium. It does cover redness, and all your flaws but it doesnt conceal them all together. Also another great thing about this BB cream is that it has SPF 30 in it. Who doesn't love that?

I have used this BB cream in the summer and also in the winter time (when my skin gets really dry) I love it year round.

This BB cream stays on my face for upto 8 hours. I don't have to touch up at all, which I love.

Over all I am really impressed with this BB cream. I  have promised my self to step out of my comfort zone and try more BB creams and foundations. Hopefully I find great foundations and can review some for you guys.

Let me know in the comments below if you have tried the Revlon BB cream. Once again thank you so much for reading and I hope all of you have a wonderful day.

Maybelline The Buffs Lipstick Touchable Taupe & Untainted Spice Review & Swatches

Hello Beauties,

How are you all today? I hope all of you are having a great day. I am sitting in front of my window right now and enjoying a beautiful snow fall. This weather has been crazy some days its 2 degrees out and some days its 50! I like the 50, but what can you do. So lets start with saying that NUDE is everywhere. Seems like every company is coming out with "naked" or "nude" categorized products.

Today I will be reviewing two of the new Maybelline "The Buffs" collection lipstick. I was really not interested in the collection when it first came out, I am not a big fan of nude shades. But passing it in the drugstore, the lipsticks looked great. So I picked up two, and I really regret picking them up. First of all I am never a nude lipstick person, I never know which shade to pick, and secondly they all look ugly on me. So lets get on the two lipsticks I picked out.

Touchable Taupe: Is a deep chocolate milk shade. (Yes I just described a lipstick with chocolate milk). At the store I thought this lipstick will look great on me, but when I got home and put it on, it looked horrible. I just hated the shade on me, it is such a deep rich shade.

Untainted Spice: Is a pink medium brown. It looked alright on me, but just too dark. It made my cheeks look small. Just didn't like this shade at all too.
Even though the collection is great and the pigmentation is amazing I was just not a fan of these lipsticks. The formula of the lipsticks is great, goes on smoothly and stays for 3-4 hours. I don't think so I will be buying more shades. But to makeup for these lipsticks I bought my self two new MAC lipsticks. Great right?

Let me know in the comments below if you tried any of the lipsticks from this line? Which is your favorite shade?

Thank you so much for reading. I hope all of you have a wonderful day.
