Colourpop Lippie Stix In Topanga Review & Swatches

As you all know Colourpop has released five new shades of lippi stix in their Summer 2015 collection. Of course I had to pick up some shades and I ended up getting two, Topanga and Fiesta. The lippie stix comes housed in a twist up pencil type lipstick form and has beautiful white packaging. This lipstick smells like a light vanilla scent which I am not fond of.

Topanga is a beautiful coral pink shade with a satin finish. The lippie stix satin finish is very creamy and the lipstick glides on the lips. Topanga is very pigmented and very rich in texture so it is very easy to wear. You can have one layer and with two layers it starts getting heavy on the lips. One thing I have noticed is that it does cling to your dry patches so if you have any dry skin on your lips it will show through the lipstick. This lipstick wore on me for a little more than four hours and it did not transfer out of the lip line. Colourpop usually has matching lip liners with the lippie stix but with the Summer 2015 collection they did not release any liners. This shade is perfect for summer days where you just want a pop of color on your face. Over all I really like this shade and it is only $5 so you really cant go wrong with it. Let me know your thoughts in the comments below. Thank you for reading and have a beautiful day.

Colourpop Super Shock Shadow in Plunge Review & Swatches

The Summer 2015 Colourpop is my go to collection these days. The shades are beautiful and perfect for the spring and summer time. Here are some of the shades that I have reviewed from the Summer 2015 collection Flipper , Shark Attack , Nillionaire so be sure to check those shades out to see what else they offer in this collection. The super shock shadows come housed in a beautiful white round container with a clear lid and the name of the shadow on the back.

Plunge is a beautiful medium beige shade with golden undertones to it. This shadow has a pearlized finish and has light shimmers in it. This is a great in the corner shade of even an all over the lid shade. This shadow is pigmented but you can always build it up for more intense color. The formula of this shadow is creamy so it is best applied with fingers and blended with a brush. I wore this shade all over my lid with a light brown in the crease and it lasted me all day long. I love how Colourpop shadows ever have any fall out and don't fade away through out the day. Over all I am really impressed with this beautiful shade and it is great for any skin tone. Let me know your thoughts in the comments below. Thank you for reading and have a great day.

Rimmel London Scandaleyes Eyeshadow Stick in Trespassing Taupe Review & Swatches

Hello Beauties,
Recently walking in Walgreens I came across this lonely chubby eye pencil from Rimmel London. After doing a little research on this shade I learned that this is a LE shade from the Rimmel Holiday 2014 collection. I know it is a little late for this post, but I had to share this shade with you all. Maybe you can search online, or get something similar to this shade.

Trespassing Taupe is a beautiful matte taupe shade, that is great for everyday wear. I have worn this shade alone on my lid and just blended out with my finger and it is perfect. The formula is super creamy and adjusts to your eyelids without any primer. I also love blending out a deep taupe eyeshadow on my outer corners with this pencil. This shade lasted seven hours on my lids without creasing or smudging around my eyes. Rimmel has a whole range of chubby eyesahdow pencils that are permanent so be sure to check those out in your stores. Over all I am really impressed with this shade, if you are looking for a great gold chubby pencil from Rimmel click HERE. Thank you for reading and have a wonderful day.

Colourpop Super Shock Cheek Blush in Fox Review & Swatches

Oh yes! Another Colourpop review for you all ( I know you love these). Also starting next month expect more Colourpop reviews because they just released a bunch of new Ultra Matte lip creams! You all know I love their super shock eye shadows and use them everyday. Today's review will be on a blush and I have already reviewed some HERE , HERE and HERE so be sure to check those out and see what Colourpop has to offer. Just like the super shock shadows the blushes come in a round white container with a clear lid (super cute packaging). The name of the shade is on the back and also the finish of the shade.

Fox is a beautiful warm coral shade with a satin finish. If you look really closely there is tiny bit of shimmer in this shadow which looks lovely on the skin. This shade is made for anyone and everyone, also for day and night time. This blush is super pigmented and easily buildable. I have applied this blush with my fingers and a RT blush brush and both work fine with the blush. The blush applies evenly on to the cheeks and gives a beautiful color. You can see the shimmer slightly when it is applied to the cheeks and it gives it kind of a glow. The formula is very soft and gel like which is great for any time of the year. This blush stayed on me for the whole entire day, it did not budge and it did not fade from my cheeks. Over all I am really impressed with this beautiful blush and everything from Colourpop. What are your thoughts on this blush? Let me know in the comments below. Thank you for reading and have a great day.

Milani Powder Blush in BlossomTime Rose Review & Swatches

Recently Milani came out with a new Summer 2015 LIMITED EDITION collection which includes 3 new rose blushes. The packaging of these blushes is super cute, they come housed in a round container with a clear lid. Also the blush is made into a rose shape which is so eye catching and beautiful. When Milani first officially released these blushes I was super excited and looked every where for them. Finally when I got my hands I had to try them right away and fell in love.

BlossomTime Rose is a beautiful pinkish mauve shade with hints of golden shimmer in it. Remember the last release of these blushes the finish was matte but I am glad that these are shimmer. The formula of this blush is great, it does not have any fall out and is not powdery. The blush is also super pigmented, one swipe and you get great color on your cheeks. The shimmer in this blush is not over whelming at all, they put in the right amount of shimmer for every day use. The blush lasted all day on me and did not fade away at all. I love using this blush with a light highlight on the cheekbones just to give it some dimension. Over all I am really impressed with this blush and remember it is limited edition so run to your local drugstore to pick it up. Thank you for reading and have a great day.

Wet N Wild MegaSlick Balm Tint in Don't Be Jelly Review & Swatches

Recently in a California Dreaming collection Wet N Wild released new balm tints which are limited edition. I have already reviewed two shades HERE and HERE so be sure to check those posts out to see what other shades are in this collection. I spotted this collection at my local Walgreens earlier last month and was excited to pick these up. Wet N Wild has already a line of balm stains out but this time they did something different with the balm tints. The packaging is the same as the balm stains so nothing different here. The balm is still twist up and has a clear lid with the shade as the packaging.

Don't Be Jelly is a light purple shade with no shimmer or glitter to it. The formula is very light but this balm tint is very glossy. I did not expect it to be this smooth and soft on the lids almost like a heavy lip balm. When I first picked these up I thought the balm stain will be moisturizing but it is not. It just sits on your lips and does not give them any moisture. Another thing I noticed is that this balm is not long wearing at all. One swipe and its all gone from the lips, so this is something you have to reapply a lot of times through out the day. Over all I am not really that impressed with this balm, even though the shade is great for everyday wear I am not liking the formula. Thank you for reading and have a great day.

NYX High Voltage Lipstick in Tiara Review & Swatches

NYX has released 22 shades in their new High Voltage lipstick line and I have picked up some of them. These shades are online only and in Ulta & Target I have not seen them yet at any CVS. Hopefully the CVS's start carrying these so I can just buy them whenever. The packaging of these lipsticks is pretty simple, the come house in a long tube with a clear lid. I actually love how they kept the lid clear so you can see the lipstick. I have so many lipsticks that the lids are not clear and I rarely use them

Tiara is a pretty deep pink almost coral shade. I love this one for everyday wear and it goes with any type of look. The formula is very creamy but if you have dry lips it is not good at all. You really have to exfoliate before applying this lipstick because it does settle into your dry patches. The lipstick applied smoothly on the lips but I would say that it is a little "slippery" so use a lip liner with it and you should be good. The lipstick stayed on my lips for four hours which is not a lot, I also noticed that it gathered on the sides of my lips. But because the lipstick is super creamy and comfortable to wear I love it. Over all the shade is beautiful and the lipstick is super affordable. Let me know your thoughts in the comments below. Thank you for reading and have a great day.

Maybelline Creamy Matte Lipstick In Blushing Pout Review & Swatches

Beginning of this month Maybelline released a whole new collection of Creamy Matte lipsticks and of course I had to pick up some shades. You all know that I love the creamy lipsticks Maybelline released last year so I knew these will be amazing as well. Maybelline kept the packaging same with these ten new shades so nothing new here. The shade name is on the bottom of the tube and the lid is frosty.

Blushing Pout is a beautiful matte pink shade with purple undertones. This shade is great for medium to dark skin tones. This beautiful shade goes with smoky looks or even neutral looks. The formula of this lipstick is very creamy and super smooth. This lipstick glides on the lips like butter and you do not need to use a lip liner with it. This shade lasted five hours on me with eating and drinking. Also the lipstick is not drying at all. It stays creamy through out the wear and does not settle into your fine lines or dry patches. Over all I am really impressed with this beautiful lipstick and the formula is amazing as well. Let me know in the comments below on what you think about this lipstick. Thank you so much for reading and have a great day.

Milani Rose Blush in Awakening Rose Review & Swatches

Yes Milani has released 3 new rose blush shades for summer 2015 which are limited edition. As you all know that I love Milani blush in Romantic Rose and use it every single day. That shade was also LE but a couple of month later Milani released it as a permanent shade and hopefully they do the same with three of these new shades. As you can see this blush has a beautiful rose pattern to it and I love that about this blush. The blush comes housed in a round flat container with a clear lid and the name on the back.

Awakening Rose is beautiful shimmery light mauve shade with brown undertones. The original Milani rose blushes have a matte finish but these new Limited Edition ones have a shimmer to them. This blush is not as powdery as the original, but it still has a little bit of powder fall out. I use this blush with my RT blush brush and it applies very evenly on the cheeks. The formula of this blush is very smooth, the blush is very buildable and gives you great coverage. Also it gives great pigmentation weather applied with a blush brush or with your fingers. Over all I am really impressed with this beautiful everyday shade and hopefully Milani Cosmetics makes this blush permanent. Let me know your thoughts on this blush. Thank your for reading and have a great day.

Colourpop Super Shock Shadow in Flipper Review & Swatches

Colourpop Summer 2015 collection is the best collection ever released for this summer. The shades are beautiful and the lippie stix even more beautiful. I have already reviewed some of the new products HERE , HERE , and HERE just a few of them. Colourpop super shock shadows come housed in a round white container with a clear lid and the shade name on the back. I just love the cute packaging and it looks pretty on my vanity.

Flipper is a beautiful light orange sparkly shade with a metallic finish. I love applying this all over my lid with a warm matte brown on my crease. This shade is perfect if you are trying to add a little bit of color to your lids and don't want to do too much. The shadow applies very pigmented on the lids and there is no need for primer. I usually apply all my colourpop shadow with my fingers but you can also use a synthetic brush to apply. This shade lasts more than seven hours on my lids and has no fall out. Over all I am really impressed with this shade which can be used spring or summer time. Let me know in the comments below your thoughts on this shade. Thank you for reading and have a great day.
