Maybelline Color Blur Cream Matte Pencil in Berry Misbehaved Review & Swatches

Recently Maybelline came out with a new line of lip pencils which are called the Color Blur Lip pencils. These came out for Summer/Fall of 2015 and I have been trying them out since then. This new lipstick from Maybelline has a matte finish and is dual ended. One side of the pencil has the cream matte color and the other end has plastic smudger. This trend of the smudger has only been seen in Korean lip brands, not a lot in the US. When Maybelline released this collection I was really curious to try out the pencils.

Berry Misbehaved  is a bright berry shade that dries down to a matte finish. The formula of the pencil is very creamy and does not tug onto your dry patches. The smudger part is something that got a lot of people confused at first even me. But later when I was actually trying out the product and reading the directions on how to apply the product it all made sense. The best way to apply this product is to apply the lipstick on the center of your lips and take the smudger and smudge it on the rest of your lips. This is suppose to give your lips an ombre faded out look and not an intense look. The smudger is plastic and I feel like it does not do a good job at smuding out the lipstick. The lipstick itself is very pigmented, super creamy and lasts all day on the lips.

Over all if you do not like the smudger you can always use the lipstick by itself and you wont be disappointed. I am very impressed with this lip pencil just not the new trend of the smudger on the end. Let me know in the comments below if you have tried this new lip pencils from Maybelline and your thoughts. Thank you so much for reading and have a great day.

Colourpop Super Shock Shadow in Cheap Date Review & Swatches

Recently Colourpop Cosmetics released a new holiday collection called The Boogie Nights. Of course I had to order some shadows and get up a review for you all. I love CP shadows because they are super affordable and are of great quality. I have never been disappointed with a CP product which is why I keep placing order over and over again. The packaging of these shadows has a clear lid so you can see the shadow and the shadow name and finish on the back.

Cheap Date:  is a true gold shade that has silver sparkles in it this shadow has a metallic finish. I applied this with my fingers and it went on smoothly and very pigmented. With so much glitter in this shadow you actually can not feel the glitter when you are applying it or once it is applied. Cheap date lasted me all day without fading or creasing on me. Over all I am really impressed with this shadow and love the formula. Let me know in the comments below your thoughts on this shadow. Thank you so much for reading and have a great day.

Colourpop Super Shock Shadow in Famous Review & Swatches

As you all know Colourpop has come out with a new holiday 2015 collection called The Boogie Nights collection. Of course I had to order a couple of shadows from the collection and today I will be reviewing one of them for you. Colourpop is an online brand who sells shadows at only $5 per piece which is a great deal. I have ordered from them many times and I have never been disappointed.

Famous:  is a light gold shadow and has a pearlized finish. This shadow is super smooth and goes on full coverage on the lids. Like with any other CP shadow I applied this with my fingers and it went on great and blended out smoothly as well. The formula is very soft and it is almost wet but applies powder on the lids, also it has no fall out. This shadow lasted me all day long and did not budge at all. Over all I am really impressed with this shadow it is great for an everyday look or for a weekend out look. Let me know in the comments below your thoughts on this shadow. Thank you for reading and have a great day.

Colourpop Super Shock Shadow in DGAF Review & Swatches

I haven't done a review on Colourpop shadows in a while. Although I have been placing a lot of orders but haven't had the chance to review them. When Colourpop released a couple of new collections this month I decided to pick up a couple of items from each collection. This shadow is from the Boogie Nights collection that was released last week. As you all know I love CP shadows they are $5 each and have amazing quality and are super pigmented.

DGAF: is a beautiful reddish-brown shade with gold shimmer in it and also has a orange undertone. This shadow has a metallic finish which means it has tons of glitter. I applied this shadow with my fingers and it went on smoothly with no fall out of the glitter. I did not use a primer for the super shock shadow because it is super pigmented. You can create so many different looks with this shadow and it is perfect for the holidays. This shadow lasted me almost all day and it looks the same when I applied it. Over all I am really impressed with this beautiful shadow and the formula. Let me know in the comments below your thoughts on this beautiful shadow. Thank you so much for reading and have a great day.

JCat Diamond Lust Lip Gloss Review & Swatches*

I know I have not reviwed many lip glosses in a quite while so I thought today will be the perfect time to review for you all. A couple of months ago JCat send me a beautiful package with some great products and I got to really try many different items. I am not a shimmery lipgloss fan but these glosses changed my mind. They come in cute packaging and are only $3.99 on the JCat website. How amazing is that deal?

Pinkish Details is a beautiful light pink shade with beautiful shimmer in it. I love how creamy this formula is and you really can't feel the shimmer on the lips. Although this gloss is not that opaque but you can get more color with 2-3 swipes. This shade lasted one me three to four hours and is not sticky at all on the lips.

Bronze Cut is a brown nude shade with lots of silver glitter infused in it. I really love the specks of sparkle in this shade and once applied you can see it on your lips. This is a great lip gloss if you are wearing a heavy or smokey eye. One thing I noticed about this shade is that it did not last me that long it did fade away pretty quickly. Maybe because of the shimmer?

Over all I am really impressed with this glosses by JCat beauty, they are great to throw in your purse and are travel friendly. Thank you to the team at JCat for sending me these. Let me know in the comments below what are your thoughts on this glosses? Thank you for reading and have a great day.

Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lip Color in HD Devotion Review & Swatches

A brand new release from Revlon at your local drugstore are the new Ultra Matte liquid lip color. I found these new matte liquid lips at Rite Aid recently at a high price of $9.49. Why are drugstore prices going up and up? Anyways if Revlon release a new lip product you all know I have to buy it, try it and review for you all. Revlon lipsticks are some of my favorite lipsticks and I really enjoy using them.

The packaging of this product is super cute, it comes in a frosted glass oval shape tube with a silver cap. I love the applicator of this lip product, it is a soft doe foot style brush that helps apply the shade evenly on to your lips. Lets talk about the difficult formula of this ultra matte lip color in hd devotion. When I swatched this shade on my wrist I waited for it to turn matte but five minutes later it was still glossy. Devotion is a pretty matte pink rosy shade that is perfect for every skin tone. When you apply the lipstick on your lips you have to have time and really wait for it to dry down. I waited 15 minutes and it still did not dry down totally to a matte finish. So this confuses me if this is only a matte shade or a real matte liquid lipstick? Anyways I would say that the formula is very creamy and light weight and goes on smoothly on the lips. The one con about this lipstick is it is very transferable. You touch anything lets say a cup your drinking from or your fingers the lipstick will transfer.

However this formula lasted on my lips for 4-6 hours which is great for a liquid lipstick that does not try down matte all the way. Over all I am really impressed with this hd lipstick from Revlon and will be purchasing more shades. If you are into what is at the drugstore and also get swatches before I blog about the products follow me on Instagram HERE so you have access to everything quick. Let me know in the comments below what are your thoughts on this lipstick. Thank you for reading and have a wonderful day.
