Urban Decay Naked Reloaded Palette Review & Swatches

Hello Lovelies,

I hope all of you are doing great. Thank you for coming to my blog and reading. Today is the day that I'll be sharing my thoughts with you on the new Urban Decay Naked Reloaded Palette. When the news came for this palette I was not that interested. I have so many Urban Decay palettes that I enjoy a lot. When I saw the swatches on UD's instagram I thought it is so pretty I have to have it. I waited till this palette was available at Sephora and picked it up the day it launched there. This palette is a"remake" for the original naked palette. I never purchased that palette but I have used my moms many times and I love it.

First of all lets talk about the packaging, it comes in a cloth-like case. This palette is very skinny and super light. When I picked it up I could barely tell if there was anything in the box. It is not like the other UD palettes that come in a hard case. This palette includes 12 shades that are mattes, metallics and iridescent shimmer. This palette includes all the shades you will need to create a every day neutral look. I have been using this palette with and without primer. Mostly my looks have come out great with primer.

As you can see UD kept the first 2 and the last 2 shade pans bigger than the rest. These shades are larger because these are the shades that everyone uses the most. I actually like that concept because it is true, I always hit pan on my regular shades faster. This palette does not come with a brush, which I am okay with. I have so many brushes that I can use with this palette.

One of my favorite shades from this palette is Barely Baked it is a metallic medium gold shade. I love this shade all over the lid with the shade Reputation. I have played with this palette a lot and created some good looks. Over all I would say if you are a makeup lover like me and already own a lot of neutral shades and everyday shades this palette is not for you. But if you are a collector this is a must buy. This palette is not limited edition and is available every where UD is sold. Let me know your thoughts on this palette in the comments below. Thank you so much for reading and have a great day.

Revlon Photoready Candid Foundation Review

Hello Lovelies,

I hope you all are having a great day. I have been doing a lot of eye shadow palette reviews, today I am bringing a different type of post for you. First of all, let me begin with telling you that this year I am on a hunt for my perfect foundation (if there is such a thing) and concealer. I have been trying many different foundations the past two months some I love and some I don't. I am totally new to this foundation world so every foundation is new for me even though it has been on the market for a while.

When I picked up this foundation the first thing I noticed is that this is a natural finish foundation. I am not a person who wants or wears a heavy full coverage foundation. So this was perfect for me, I picked up the foundation and concealer. I have a concealer review coming later. This foundation comes in 31 different shades, which is great because it was super easy to pick out my shade. This foundation does not include parabens, oils, phthalates, synthetic dyes, and fragrances. I am so glad it is free of these things because they are not great for the skin.

When I first wore this foundation I was amazed at how it made my skin look, it gave my skin such a natural look. I used it without a primer and actually, I really did not need a primer. It made my skin feel moisturized throughout the day. It did not feel sticky and it did not move or crease at all. This foundation did not have full coverage but it sure is buildable. I only apply one layer with my foundation brush and it gives a very natural look.

The packaging of this foundation is super cute, it comes with a pump and the pump dispenses a perfect amount you need. This lightweight foundation is perfect for everyday use. I am super impressed with it and I have been wearing it non-stop. I have gotten so many compliments on my skin because it looks so natural. I love setting it with a spray. You can buy this product at any major drugstore for a great affordable price.

Let me know in the comments below your thoughts on this foundation. Also, let me know what is your favorite foundation in the comments below. I would love to try out your recommendations. Thank you for reading and have a great day.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Riviera Palette Review & Swatches

Hello Lovelies,

How are you all? Thank you for coming back to my blog and reading. There are so many new makeup products coming out recently that I can't keep up with them. When ABH posted pictures of this new palette that is for the Spring 2019 collection I was in love with it. I knew I had to have this palette even though it looked very colorful. I waited and got this palette from Ulta store, I did not even need to swatch this over there because I knew I will love it.

First of all, the packaging of this palette is super cute. This palette makes me want to get on a yacht and just enjoy. The white, blue and rose gold packaging is everything. When you open the palette you get fourteen shades that are matte and metallic. The first row includes 1 matte and the rest shimmer. The bottom row is all mattes. I love the layout of this palette because it just inspires you to create so many looks.

I am not going to be describing each shade because all of you might have seen it so many times. The formula of the metallic shades is super nice. They go on so nice on the lids, with or without fingers. You don't need a sticky base for these, I tried them without primer and they work amazing. There is a little bit of chunk with the metallics but nothing that great. Seychelles is a beautiful aqua-marine metallic shade that goes on so smooth. I love the bright pops of pink in the palette. I was so impressed Bahamas, it is a great shade for your crease (the way I used it) for a colorful look.

All of the shadows in this palette blend easily and are greatly pigmented. Not one shadow is disappointing. I own a lot of ABH palettes and love them equally. But this palette has a special place in my heart because I have been wearing it a lot and absolutely loving it.

Let me know in the comments below your thoughts on this palette? Are you buying it or skipping it? Thank you so much for reading, I hope all of you have a wonderful day.

xoxo,

Colour Pop Yes, Please! Palette Review & Swatches

Hello Lovelies,

I hope all of you are having a great day and enjoying this year so far. As I told you before last year was a year of eyeshadow palettes for me. The most palettes I purchased were from Colourpop. I have almost all of their palettes and I absolutely love them.

Today I will be sharing the beautiful Yes, Please palette with you. This is one of the first palettes that I picked up from Ulta when Colourpop released their products there. This palette contains 12 pressed powders which includes mattes and shimmers. I love the packaging of this palette, although it does not come with a mirror I think it is super travel friendly.

I absolutely love all the shades in this palette. If I were to create a palette this would be it. I love the golden, yellow and bronze shades. The mattes are super blendable and pigmented. The shimmers also work great. While using this palette I have noticed barely any fall out or crumbling of the shades. If I did not have so many eyeshadows to choose from I would wear this palette everyday.

Over all like many others I am in love with this palette. If you like this palette, don't hesitate. Let me know in the comments below your thoughts on this palette. Thank you for reading.

Bad Habit Athena Palette Review & Swatches

Hello Lovelies,

How are you all today? I hope everyone is having a great day and a happy month of March. It is still super cold here but I cant wait till Spring time. Today I come to you with a eye shadow palette review and swatches. A little background on where I got this palette, its from a app/website called Shop hush. I've been seeing so many pictures on Instgram about their palettes and thought to check it out. They do mostly high end dupable palettes. Today and in the future I'll be sharing with you some of the palettes that I have purchased from that app.

When I was purchasing this palette, I was not sure what to expect. But when the palette came in I was absolutely in love with it. The packaging is super sturdy and made out of good cardboard. One thing that I am in love about the packaging is that it comes with a super size mirror.

If you are very active in the beauty community you may have noticed that this palette is a duper for Huda Beauty Desert Dusk palette. Although I do not own the Desert Dusk palette I can see similarities between those two. Like I said above these palettes are made to be dupes for high end palettes.

Athena is such a beautiful palettes with eight mattes, six shimmers, three duo chrome and one glitter. This palette has all sorts of formulas, which I love because you can create so many different looks with using just one palette.

I have used this palette many times and every time I use it I am so happy with it. The shadows are super pigmented and blend so easily. There is barely any fall out and they stay on all day. I will have to say that my favorite formula in this palette are the mattes. They are super soft and blend so easily. With this palette you can create neutral and colorful looks.

Over all I am super impressed with this palette and the formula. The best part about this palette is that it is only $12 ( look for sales). Let me know in the comments below your thoughts on this palette. Thank you for reading and enjoy your day.

Huda Beauty New Nude Eyeshadow Palette Review & Swatches

Hello Lovelies,

Welcome back to my blog, thank you for reading and always supporting. I hope all of you are having a wonderful day. Last year (2018) was the year of eyeshadow palettes for me. I picked up a lot of new eyeshadow palettes and one of them was the ever stunning Huda Beauty new Nude palettes. When they released the new that this palette was coming out I was super excited to add this to my collection.

I have never owned a Huda Beauty palette before so I was so excited to get my hands on this one. First of all I love the packaging of this palette. It is so pretty and the colors are so pretty too. This palette comes with 18 shades which includes mattes, shimmers and glitters with specks. Also this comes with 1 concealer shade for easy application of the other shades.

The mattes in this palette are infused with aloe-vera and coconut oil, which I can tell because these mattes are super soft and blendable. I love the purple-pink tones of this palette, this is perfect to create everyday looks or party looks with the glitter and shimmer shades. The chunky glitter shades in this palette are amazing as well. This is something that I have never seen before which I love in the palette. I mainly used the glitter shades with my fingers and they worked great. There was a little fall out with the glitter but nothing to big.

The one disappointing thing for me in the palette was the concealer shade. It was very drying on my lids and did not work very well with the shades. I've seen people loving that shade but for me, maybe because of my dry lids, it just did not work at all. I used other concealers for my eyelid and applied these shadows which worked out great and the shadows blended easily.

Over all I am super impressed with this palette, it is what it is told to be. The colors are great and the formula as well. Let  me know in the comments below your thoughts on this palette. Thank you so much for reading and I hope all of you have a wonderful day.

Colourpop Disney Designer Collection Lipsticks & Swatches

Hello lovelies,

Welcome back to my blog and thank you for reading my posts. I hope all of you are having a great day and enjoying 2019 so far. A couple months ago Colourpop (my favorite brand) released a Disney Designer collection. They collabed with Disney to create a collection with all the princesses, the collection included eye shadow palette, lipsticks and more. I ended up picking some gorgeous lipsticks that I will share with you today.

As you can see the packaging on these lipsticks is just stunning. They have lipsticks named after the princess and the lipsticks are in my favorite formula the lux lipsticks. Lux lipsticks are the most comfortable matte formula in a lipstick that I have tried. I own other lux lipsticks and I love them all.

Belle: This lipsticks is one of my favorites. The shade is a rose berry shade that goes on very creamy on the lips. It lasts all day and stays creamy.

Cinderella: Is a beautiful pink shade with blue undertones. This shade is not that flattering on my brown skin but if paired with a lip liner it looks pretty.

Snow White: A true red and one of the most prettiest reds. It is so creamy and it glides on the lips. I sometimes just apply one layer and it looks so vibrant.

Tiana: is a deep red which is perfect for bold lips. This formula is also creamy and stays put on the lips.

Ariel: Is a nude shade with peachy undertones. I love this shade as a everyday shade also, it is the go to neutral shade.

Over all I am really loving these lipsticks. Each lipstick comes with the princesses names on it and is just so pretty. These lipsticks are on the top of my vanity for everyday use. Let me know in the comments below your thoughts on these lipsticks. If you love them, don't forget to grab them before they are gone because they are limited edition. Thank you for reading and have a wonderful day.

Elf Camo Concealer Review

Hello Lovelies,

I hope all of you are doing well. Today I will be reviewing something that has been a hype recently in the makeup world. I am talking about the new Elf cosmetics camo concealer.  They came out with this product last month and only for $5 you can get this concealer online or at Target. I found mine at Target, they did not have a lot of shades there so thankfully I found mine. This concealer comes in 18 different shades it is a full coverage concealer with a matte finish.

This year I am on a hunt for my favorite concealer so I am trying out a lot of different products and brands. This concealer is super cheap and comes in so many different shades. I love the cute packaging, it is simple and great for use. It comes with a doe foot applicator which helps you apply the product evenly under your eyes. This concealer can be used to conceal, contour and highlight.

I have only used this as a concealer and I think it does a okay job. I have dry under eye skin and this product is very heavy for me. It blends easily and greatly on my skin. This is a very high coverage concealer so if you are not looking for that it isn't for you. It covered everything under my eye and I set it with a translucent setting powder.

This concealer did not crease on me all day and stayed put. I had no problems with it other than it was super drying. You have to work really fast with this concealer, I blended with my finger so it can be a little warm. Over all I like this concealer but if you are not looking for a heavy finish this isn't for you. I love how they have a variety of shades and is super affordable. Let me know in the comments below your thoughts on this concealer. Thank you for reading and have a great day.

Pixi Glow-y Gossamer Duo Highlithers Review & Swatches **

Hello Lovelies,

Happy March everyone. I cant believe that this year is already going by so fast. I am sorry for being not active on here for the last month. I got sick and super busy but I am back now and better. If you follow me on my Instagram you will see most of my posts.

Today I am coming to you with a review on these beautiful Glow-y Gossamer Duos. These are powder highlighters to use on your cheek or your brow bone to add the perfect glow. These are duos which is great because you can find a shade that fits your skin tone. These are so silky and soft also they are not drying at all. I have two different duos here, I love both of them. These highlighters come in great packaging, its not bulky or too small. These are great for travel and you can throw them in your bag easily. These do no come with a mirror or a brush, but other than that they are great.

Delicate Dew:  Is a pinky highlighter with golden undertones. They go on super smooth and soft. I just tap my brush in there and apply on my cheeks. They are not super blinding but you can always build it up. This duo is perfect for everyday and day time use.

Subtle Sunrise: Is my favorite duo. It is a peachy and bronze gold shade, it is great for deeper for medium skin tones. These shades glide on so smooth on the skin and blend out easily.

Over all, I will definitely recommend these duos if you are looking for something light but buildable. They are pigmented and go on smoothly on the skin. Also travel friendly. Please let me know in the comments below your thoughts on these Gossamer Highlighter duos. Thank you for reading and have a wonderful day.
